In this video, we'll fix the common problem of being kicked by the Punkbuster software while playing Battlefield 4 (often called BF4). The usual message of error is "You have been kicked by Punkbuster.". Users affected by this problem usually join a server of Battlefield 4 and play for a few seconds or for a few minutes, and then they get kicked out to the main menu of the game, with the message "You have been kicked by Punkbuster.".

The Punkbuster software is an anti-cheat software used in multiplayer games, such as Battlefield 4, to prevent cheating and general unfair gameplay. However, in this case, players in Battlefield 4 are often kicked by only playing a few seconds, while playing fairly and "by the book". This problem is caused by the fact that the Punkbuster software installed is outdated. Unfortunately, while the Punkbuster software version remains outdated, the player will constantly be kicked out of the game, effectively being unable to play the game. To fix it, it's necessary to update Punkbuster to match the version required by Battlefield 4 servers.

To fix it, follow the instructions.

1. Download the Punkbuster setup
2. Update Punkbuster
3. Click "Add a Game" - Choose "Battlefield 4" - Click "Add a Game"
4. Download Punkbuster Service Installer
5. Run Punkbuster Service Installer

Make sure to go through all the steps shown in the video. If you skip any part of the video, it's very easy to accidentaly skip one of the steps.
