00:26the Chiefs traded Joe Tooney for
00:29People are screaming like,
00:30my God, Kansas City's giving up
00:32a player like Tooney.
00:33The reality is they're betting on
00:36the fourth rounder being better
00:38for them over the next two years
00:39than as Tooney's age starts to
00:42decline.
00:43At some point,
00:44these are mathematical equations
00:46for football teams where they're
00:47wondering what the productivity
00:51will be as a player ages and
00:52starts to decline.
00:54Now, whether that's correct or
00:55not, these are like actuarial
00:58tables for football, right?
01:00A huge part of the decision in
01:02Allen to Kinlaw is projecting out
01:05what this looks like two years
01:07from now.
01:08And yes, Kinlaw missed some time
01:10with some knee trouble during his
01:12first three seasons in the NFL,
01:14but in the last two,
01:15he hasn't missed a game.
01:17Allen's coming off a year where he
01:18missed 12 games with a pec injury.
01:20Pec injury is a one-off.
01:21I understand that, but
01:22there were concerns about his
01:23shoulders previously.
01:24And I think everybody involved
01:26with Washington is just happy.
01:29I'm happy John got paid and
01:30went to a playoff team.
01:32I think that Vikings team could be
01:33pretty good.
01:34I think what Minnesota has done
01:36instead of paying,
01:38instead of paying Darnold,
01:40which I never would have done,
01:41they've invested a ton of money
01:43into their trenches.
