00:00Hey, what's up, y'all? It is, again, my favorite day of the week. Doggy Dog Thursdays with my good friend Sarah from Friends for Animals in Metro Detroit and our very special guest. Who is this today?
00:13This is Titus. Hi, Titus. He is three, almost three and a half years old. Wow, he's pretty big for three and a half.
00:21Yeah, this should be about as big as he'll get. Okay. And he came to us actually as a stray, so probably a lost dog.
00:30And he is a very good boy. He's very cuddly. As you can tell, he's pretty chill. He just kind of wants to sit here and be loved.
00:37He really likes car rides. He was great on the way over here. He just laid in the back seat and looked out the window and was really happy.
00:44He's very excited about getting into a car. Okay. And he has actually participated in all three of our recent Doggy Day Outs.
00:51So he's been out. We've had a couple volunteers take him out. He's been to Lowe's and Home Depot, and I guess he got to walk around the mall.
00:58Yeah. And he went hiking in one of the state parks. So he's a very active dog. Yes. But he also really likes to just cuddle and chill.
01:06So I think he'd be good. I mean, he'd enjoy a family that would, you know, take him hiking or just take him on walks, but also, you know, just loves to cuddle.
01:14He really likes tennis balls, too. And he loves kisses, too. Yes. He wants to give everybody kisses.
01:19So, unfortunately, he's actually been with us for 16 weeks now, I think. Okay.
01:25He's very sweet. He just hasn't found his forever home yet. He doesn't show real well in his kennel. He gets stressed.
01:32But as soon as you take him out, I mean, he's just like this. He's chill. He just wants to be loved.
01:36So, just doesn't always make a great first impression when he's stressed and there's other dogs barking.
01:43Now, how much is it to take Titus home?
01:46So, actually, if you want to adopt him before the end of February, he has a waived adoption fee.
01:51Our board chair, Mary Ann Wright, is actually sponsoring all the animals with either reduced or waived fees, and adult dogs are actually waived.
02:00So, he would have no adoption fee. It would just be the $10 to register his microchip.
02:06Oh, okay. So, that's through the end of February.
02:08So, you can come scoop him up and give him a good home.
02:13Yes. See? Oh, he's kidding. I'm getting jealous, Titus.
02:17I know. Yeah.
02:18Share some of that love with me. He's such a good dog. He hasn't barked one time since he's been here.
02:25Very chill. He was quiet the whole way here.
02:26Yes, hi. Oh, okay. Oh, that's what we're doing.
02:30Okay.
02:31Everybody's got to get kisses.
02:32Yes.
02:33So, we do recommend him for a calmer home, just because he's pretty chill.
02:37Yeah.
02:38We would probably recommend older kids, just because he can, when he does play, he can get a little active.
02:43We just want to make sure that they could, you know, don't get knocked down or anything.
02:49But, as always, we suggest, you know, do a kid meet, do a dog meet, just to make sure.
02:53All right. If you would like to schedule a dog meet and check out Sarah, Titus, and all the other fur babies at Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit, you can just visit them.
03:04What's the address, Sarah?
03:05You can either visit us at our Adoption Center, which is behind the Dearborn Police Station, which is 16121 Reckinger Road, or you can check us out online at MetroDetroitAnimals.org.
03:17All right. Titus, we're going to give him a good home. Thank you, Sarah.
