01:33And then he opened fire, killed the young woman, and then wounded Simon, the boyfriend.
01:40Then he gets in a car and flees from his house.
01:43And then later on, he was arrested later that day in Jefferson County in the Denver area.
01:52Cops, you know, obviously a big bullet now for this guy.
01:54They finally, they found him, they pulled him over.
01:56And he's facing 22 criminal counts in the shooting, including first-degree murder of the young woman.
02:03And the court ordered a mental health evaluation.
02:08And he is pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
02:12He's going after the insanity defense.
02:14But the mother of the young woman killed says this is insane, it's disgusting.

02:28And Chelsea Thompson, the girlfriend of the guy that opened fire and killed the young woman and wounded the boyfriend,
02:37told cops that he did admit opening fire on two people, told police that he was not mentally stable,
02:46and hadn't been the entire time that she knew him.

02:50So your boyfriend is out of his freaking mind, and he's your boyfriend.
