Hong Kah North's MP Amy Khor who is also Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment, and Transport will not be contesting in the upcoming General Election. Dr Khor who was first elected as Member of Parliament for Hong Kah in 2001 will retire from politics.

00:06particularly to Hongka North SMC. And before that, she was also part and parcel of Hongka North
00:13GRC, serving as part of the GRC. I think she has done a lot in contributing to the building of
00:21Hongka North town. Now that part of the Hongka North SMC has become part of the, within the
00:30boundary of Chochukang GRC, particularly in the Dengar district. So I think this is part and parcel
00:37of the GRC going forward. And we do look forward to serving our Dengar residents to the best we can.
00:43And we also look forward to their support for our candidates. As for Dr. Kuo, she has decided also
00:51to step down for her personal reasons. But I think she has contributed many years of service
01:00to building and sort of bonding the community in Hongka North. And she has done a fantastic job.
01:09So I just want to put on record our appreciation for her contribution.
