Welcome to "Perpetual's Kitchen".

Shark fish curry is a beloved coastal Indian dish, known for its bold, spicy, and tangy flavors. Shark meat has a firm, meaty texture and absorbs spices well, making it ideal for curries. This dish is especially popular in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and parts of Andhra Pradesh, each with its unique regional twist😊

🔷Here's a recipe to make "Traditional Shark Fish Curry" at home:-
☛FOR MARINATION:-
* Take 200 grams of Shark fish (Washed & Cleaned) in a bowl
* Add ¼ tsp of Salt.
* ¼ tsp Turmeric powder.
* ½ Lemon juice.
* Mix well..
* Set aside for 5 minutes to marinate.

☛FOR MASALA PASTE:-
* Add 4 tsp of sliced coconut on a frying pan.
* 1 sliced onion.
* Dry roast.
* Now add ½ bowl of coriander leaves & dry roast.
* Take it out in a plate & allow it to cool completely.
* Now transfer the roasted ingredients in a grinding jar & add 3 tbsp of water & coarsely grind.
* Open the lid of the grinding jar & add little water.
* Grind it to a fine paste.
* Our Masala Paste is ready.

⬗Method:-
* Heat 4 tbsp oil in a kadai (WOK)
* Add 12-15 Fenugreek seeds & 1 tsp Cumin seeds. Fry it.
* Add 1 finely chopped onion & fry till they turn light brown in color.
* Add 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste. Stir, fry & cook well.
* Add 1 tbsp of Coriander powder, 1 tbsp kashmiri red chili powder & ½ tsp turmeric powder. Stir, mix & cook well.
* Add ½ tsp Black pepper powder. Mix & cook well.
* Add 3 tomatoes puree. Stir, mix & cook.
* Add ½ tsp salt or salt as per your taste (NOTE:- We have also added salt while marinating the fish pieces). Mix Well.
* Add the Masala Paste & mix & cook well.
* Wash the grinding jar in which we made the masala paste & pour hat water into the kadai. Sti9r & mix well.
* Close the lid & let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
* Open the lid after 5 minutes. Stir & mix well.
* Add hot water - 1 glass & stir well.
* Close the lid & let it cook on high flame for 5 minutes.
* Open the lid after 5 minutes. Stir & mix well.
* Add the marinated fish pieces & mix well.
* Close the lid & let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
* Open the lid after 5 minutes. Stir & mix well.
* Add ½ tsp Garam Masala, 4 tbsp tamarind pulp & some chopped coriander leaves. Stir & mix well.
* Close the lid & let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
* Open the lid after 5 minutes. Gently mix it.
* Garnish with some freshly chopped coriander leaves.

OUR TRADITIONAL "SHARK FISH CURRY" IS READY TO SERVE😋😊
🔸Note:- Serve hot with steamed rice, idiyappam, dosa, or even chapati.
