00:00If it's in your news feed, it's in the feed with Amy and Sean, 1027 VGS.
00:06It's something that's been asked for by Twitter users since the beginning of time.
00:12The edit feature, and they're bringing it finally.
00:18I'm not a tweeter.
00:20I know you're not a tweeter.
00:21You should be a tweeter.
00:22You're very funny one-off lines.
00:25But they're going to ruin it.
00:27They're going to ruin it.
00:28Of course they are.
00:29Okay, so Twitter is starting to roll out an edit tweet button.
00:32This is only for users of its Twitter Blue subscription service.
00:37Wait a minute.
00:38Twitter has a subscription service?
00:41They need to make money somehow because, obviously, Elon Musk is not going to buy them.
00:46$5 a month gets you special little things, and among them, you will be able to edit a tweet within 30 minutes of sending it.
00:53What?
00:54Yeah.
00:56So.
00:57Here's the thing on Twitter.
00:58You send a tweet, and then two minutes later, you're like, oh, I misspelled something.
01:02I look like a fool.
01:02I used the wrong there.
01:04Oh, okay.
01:05So then.
01:06You have to delete it.
01:07Right.
01:07And then redo it.
01:08But then, like, you have likes on it already.
01:10Right.
01:10You don't want to remove it.
01:11Yeah.
01:12It's interesting.
01:13It's ridiculous.
01:13Yeah.
01:14For the Twitter people.
01:15I guess so.
01:15Let's talk about this lovely girl in Germany.
01:18Oh, my goodness.
01:19So, parents in Germany had the best intentions.
01:21They named their daughter six years ago.
01:23Here we are six years later, and her name is now synonymous with Amazon.
01:28The worst.
01:29Her name is Alexa.
01:30Yeah.
01:30Alexa, go get me a drink.
01:33Alexa, do a dance.
01:35Can't.
01:35Alexa, tell me a joke.
01:37Yeah.
01:37You can only imagine how kindergarten's going for Alexa.
01:40Oh, my gosh.
01:40So, they've had enough.
01:42She's kind of traumatized.
01:43And I bet they have, like, Alexas in the classrooms, too.
01:47You know what I mean?
01:48Oh, God.
01:49I hope not.
01:49That's got to be terrible.
01:50So, they went to their local government.
01:52The local government said no.
01:53So, then they had to go to court, and the court is going to allow them, and did allow
01:56them, to change the name of their daughter, which they do not say in the article what they've
02:02changed the name to.
02:03Yeah.
02:03Very strange if it would be like, Google Siri.
02:05Siri, yeah.
02:05It's like, Siri, we hear that's a beautiful name.
02:08Right.
02:08And then, finally, a piece of art took the top spot in the digital art category of the
02:13Colorado State Fair.
02:15It's printed on canvas.
02:16The work is called Viator d'Opera Spatial.
02:19Of course it is.
02:21It's featured.
02:21It's kind of like an opera that takes place in space.
02:23It's really beautiful.
02:25Here's the problem.
02:27The image was made using AI.
02:32So, the artist, quote, unquote, the person.
02:35Is not a person.
02:36No, so a guy just typed in what he wanted to see, and the AI made the piece itself, and
02:45then he printed it on canvas, put it in the competition, and won an artist competition.
02:51Wow.
02:51So, did he get disqualified?
02:53I don't know.
02:53It probably wasn't in the rules to be disqualified.
02:55Oh, my gosh.
02:56If you're a robot, you can't win.
02:58I doubt that's good, but it will be in next year's rules.
03:00It should be, but, like, obviously, like, the artists are just disgusted with this.
03:05They're like, someone tweeted, we're watching the death of artistry in full before our eyes.
03:10Yeah.
03:10Like, if you, like, wanted to commission something now, why would you commission an artist to do it?
03:14If you can get access to this, just type in exactly what you want to see, and then just does it.
03:18That's so crazy.
03:18In four seconds.
03:19I mean, it's just, like, rules and laws and things, like, they're put in place because somebody was dumb enough to do it or smart enough to do it before, and I always go back to the McDonald's cup that says hot, the coffee cup that says it's hot because the lady sued him because she burned herself because her coffee was hot.
03:36But you know what, though?
03:37Her coffee was, like, so I've read into that.
03:39The whole podcast on it, because I think that's the one we always look at is the McDonald's.
03:42Yeah, of course, coffee's hot.
03:44The coffee was, like, near boiling.
03:46It was stupid hot.
03:48So, like, once you read into it, she had a point, but, like, you know, don't jump from, you know, this is not, don't jump from here.
03:55And it's, like, a one-foot wading pool.
03:57Like, who would do that?
03:59Yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:59Well, also, like, my whale in our pool, we have, like, the big blow-up whale, and it says, like, this is not to save your life.
04:06I'm, like, yeah, I know.
04:07I can barely get on the damn thing.
04:08Okay?
04:09Of course it's not going to save my life.
04:11Trying to mount that whale, you become very top-heavy.
04:14Yeah.
