00:00Everton will look to sign a new centre-back this summer to replace a defender who's likely
00:07to leave. Martine Torque understands they could also move for a Premier League left-back.
00:13The Toffees are in for a busy transfer window with 13 first-team players possibly leaving,
00:19including eight out of contract and five loanees who may not be signed permanently.
00:24One of the players set to be out of contract is centre-back Michael Keane, who is unlikely
00:29to be offered a contract extension. The 32-year-old came off the bench to replace an injured James
00:35Tarkovsky against Manchester City but made multiple mistakes in just 40 minutes on the pitch.
00:42Keane will likely depart as a free agent in the coming months. Jake O'Brien, who has performed
00:48well at right-back for Everton, could move into the centre-back position to play alongside
00:53Jared Branthwaite. Team Talk also reported that Saudi club Al Rehad previously showed interest
01:00in Keane but he wasn't keen on a move at the time. Wolves also made an inquiry in January
01:06but he decided against it. MLS could also be an option with FC Dallas among those to have
01:11looked at him. Everton are already planning for Keane's departure and have been looking
01:17at several potential replacements. Burnley centre-back Maxime Miveste, 22, has been linked
01:24with Everton. However, Burnley's promotion to the Premier League means they'll be reluctant to sell him.
01:30Nottingham Forest defender Andrew Omobaladele, currently on loan at Stroudsburg, has also been scouted.
01:37But if Forest sale, Everton may compete for him. The Toffees are also keen on Basikti centre-back
01:43Jerome Apoku, a 26-year-old Ghana international, as a more affordable option.
01:51Additionally, Everton are keeping tabs on Leicester City left-back Victor Christensen,
01:56a 22-year-old who could provide competition for Mitali Kamikalenko.
02:02With Leicester relegated, Christensen may be available at a lower cost this summer. David Moyes and
