00:00But no, I think that Appleton has always been. We know that Appleton wants the job. He said it from the outset that he wants to be back in the dugout. We know that he's keen to take on the Shrewsby job. And it's in the hands of the club.
00:15You know, we saw his comments on Saturday, you know, where he was hinting at the fact that there's other things going on at the football club at the moment, which probably, you know, reading between the lines, it suggests there's something bubbling under, you know, around a takeover, whether that's impacting, you know, what's going on.
00:32And I would suggest that it must be because, you know, I said to Appleton myself when I started asking him a few questions post the game on Barnsley, I said, you must be fed up of us asking the same question about your future every single week.
00:47And he just laughed. And then I kind of said after that, I said, I kind of expected this to have all been wrapped up by the time I got back off my holidays.
00:56And he kind of laughed at that one, too, because I must admit, when I went away, I assumed that before Shrewsby played on Good Friday, that his future would have been wrapped up and sorted.
01:07So I must admit, I was I was also surprised to see that when, you know, I arrived back, that that it still hadn't been, you know, nailed down.
01:17Like it's not that the negotiations aren't that deep. I wouldn't expect, you know.
01:22So he hinted that there's something going on. The challenge is, is that I suppose if there is anything of that elk going on with bubbling under the under the surface and with regards to takeover, do they want to make a decision or would that be part of the negotiations that they'd want to appoint their own head coach?
01:41Could that be the reason that slightly delaying it? Maybe potentially that might be something.
