Our Audacy LAUNCH artist, Hudson Westbrook, is making the most of first ACM Awards, dipping in and back out immediately to continue life on the road. It's not something he planned for at the beginning of the year, but the success has been "insane" and amazing for the Texas native.

00:08it's good to see you we just got to chat the other day about all things going on
00:12with you. Yeah we deep dived into all of it. We deep dived. Talk to me is this your
00:16first time at the ACM Awards? Yeah it's my first time ever at the ACM Awards. How are
00:19you feeling about it? It's insane it's cool. It's pretty wild. We definitely didn't try to
00:23make this week free for the ACMs at the beginning of the year and now we're here
00:26so it's really cool it's really cool to be here today. Are you gonna be at the
00:29show on Thursday? I will not be at the show I have a show so we literally go
00:33from the ACM stage into the trailer straight to Georgia from here. Oh my
00:37gosh. So and then we have Georgia. Very busy time. Charleston and one more so. Yeah a bunch of
00:42shows all good stuff. Have you gotten to like see anybody here walking around
00:46backstage that you haven't met before like Blake Shelton's in here somewhere? No not
00:49yet. Yeah but I'm excited to meet a lot of people. Is it fun to be back home
00:53getting to do stuff like this here in Texas? It's definitely nice driving my truck
00:57here. So you drive your own truck here and then you get to and if I forget
01:03anything I forget a lot of things so I can go back to the house and grab it if
01:06I need. What do you forget? Wallet, keys, anything that you can forget. Who's in
01:11charge of making sure that you've got all the things? Girlfriend or mom or Zeb my
01:16manager. When was the last time you forgot something and it ended up being
01:19like a really big you're like uh-oh. I forgot so I'm going to Mexico in a week. We got the
01:26whole problem figured out but I lost my my wallet and it had my ID and I was
01:31supposed to get my passport and it's with someone's family and so their
01:35family was very uh they're like we need you to get the passport and so we came
01:38in yesterday came to Dallas walked in got the passport same day and we figured
01:43it out but. There's nothing more stressful than a passport issue. Yeah or
01:46losing your wallet. You got a debit card, credit card, everything in there. All the
01:50things. Well I'm glad that you found it. It's so great to see you. We're happy that you got to be here for some of the ACM
01:54awards backstage. I'm excited.
