This pose is called the peacock pose. It is extremely good for the digestive organs. As the blood is concentrated and sent to various digestive organs which helps in getting toned up by the intra abdominal pressure. This has a good effect on the expelling action of the colon. Very beneficial in constipation, piles and obesity. Develops chest. A beneficial exercise for the liver, and pancreas. Tones abdominal muscles. Also very useful in diabetes.
