Former Chief Minister of Karnataka BS Yediyurappa talked to the media about Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh election results on December 8.

Yediyurappa said, “The election results coming out of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh have overturned all political calculations based on caste and religion. The voters of both the states have shown that the development of the state and the country are important over caste and religion.”

He added that the election result is evidence that the development of this country is possible only with the BJP. Yediyurappa continued saying, “People of the country have taught a lesson to the Opposition parties that they can’t ruin the personality of PM Narendra Modi by using words like Ravana and Bhasmasura. BJP will win more than 140 seats in the upcoming Karnataka election. I advise the Opposition parties to stop dreaming of power and pay more attention to the development of the country.”
