00:00 Hi, my name is Gulab Shah Ansari and I'm founder of Dreaming In Slum Foundation.

00:44 My dream to see Indian team playing at FIFA World Cup one day
00:48 and for that what we are doing is we are creating a strong base.
00:53 So to travel to FIFA I got opportunity through an organization
00:59 where we were playing football and one day this thing was like
01:02 we can participate in FIFA World Cup.
01:05 That happened and after that we got opportunity to go US
01:10 where I was doing a leadership camp and then I came back and I started my own project.
01:15 That project got online, listed online and I got 60,000 votes
01:19 and then my prize was like London Olympic as a junior ambassador.
01:23 Then I went to London Olympics.
01:25 [Music]
01:36 I had a dream to study in abroad like but everybody said you need lot of money.
01:42 Through German consulate we got scholarship to study sports management.
01:46 When I was traveling in that time I was trying to understand
01:50 how the structures like how sports for development is working in their country.
01:54 So this project started in 2011 with 10 girls
02:01 and it continued till 2016 with 60 kids.
02:07 So 2016 the whole area where we were working it went into redevelopment
02:13 and then after that everything went to zero.
02:16 And I am like I want to do this. This is my passion like I want to teach.

02:38 The first diffusion was the attire like if I am wearing T-shirt and short pant
02:43 without asking me only they also think like the daughter need to go like that.
02:47 Then first thing I change my attire.
02:50 Like if I wear track pant, if I wear T-shirt then maybe I can get their confidence level in me.
02:56 The most difficult part was to convince the parents to explain them what is coming in ahead of them.
03:03 Not now but after 10 years, after 5 years.
03:06 [Music]
03:15 At Grassroot Development we are developing more kids.
03:18 We are involving more kids to come and pick football to reach to that level.
