Egyptian Artists take to the streets

Al Qarra - Strikes, demonstrations, canceled performances. Everything seems to go wrong for Egyptian artists. They are angry and they are out to show it.

Opponents of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi demonstrated Thursday in Cairo to demand the resignation of the Minister of Culture Alaa Abdelaziz after the dismissal of the director of the Cairo Opera House, Ines Abdel Dayem.

They also accuse the government of trying to place people from the Muslim Brotherhood in the workings of the country.
