For people who tend to get angry at everything, even the innocent trees aren't out of reach.

In one very bizarre report, a man in La Crosse, Wisconsin received citations after police officers caught him taking out some revenge on a tree.

It all started after cops noticed a crowd gathering outside a Mexican grill restaurant located at 127 S. Third St. Onlookers were watching a man, later identified as 25-year-old Mitchel Pfaff, as he climbed a tree, tore a branch off it, and then tossed the limb to the ground.

All of this was going on at about 3 in the morning on a recent Saturday. Police confronted the male. Pfaff told cops that he was, in his own words “paying the tree back.”

He went event further claiming the reasoning for his revengeful act was because his friend had fallen from the same tree several years earlier and cracked his head open. (1,3,1) Police cited Pfaff for damage to property and disorderly contact.

He is due in La Crosse Municipal Court on November 27th, where he will face paying one fine for $244 and another ticket for $177.
