Amazon certainly ships a lot of products, but it appears practice has not made the company perfect. In October 2014, the online retailer shipped, by air, a highly corrosive drain cleaner called "Amazing! Liquid Fire," and the FAA is not pleased.

In October 2014, the online retailer shipped, by air, a highly corrosive drain cleaner called "Amazing! Liquid Fire," and the FAA is not pleased, reports the Wall Street Journal.
It would like to fine Amazon $350,000 for violating a number of protocols outlined in the agency’s Hazardous Materials Regulations, notes The Verge.
According to the FAA, the package lacked proper packaging, labeling, and emergency response information.
All may have come in rather handy, as the product reportedly leaked while traveling from Louisville, Kentucky to Boulder, Colorado, and the caustic liquid ended up on the hands of 9 UPS workers.
A chemical wash was used to treat each of them, according to Gizmodo.
The enforcement letter sent recently by the FAA gives Amazon 30 days to respond.
