South Korea announced recently that it has a plan in place for the assassination of Kim Jong-un, should such a need arise, reports CNN.
North Korea recently conducted its 5th nuclear test, and its army revealed it has the weapons capability to, “completely reduce Seoul to ashes.”
In speaking to South Korea’s parliament on Wednesday, Defense Minister Han Min-koo confirmed the nation’s readiness to address those threats.
He said there exists, “…a general idea and plan to use precision missile capabilities to target the enemy's facilities in major areas as well as eliminating the enemy's leadership."
In response, North Korea accused both it’s southern neighbor and the United States of creating, “…the uncontrollable and irreversible phase of the outbreak of a nuclear war.”
It also noted, “Time will prove what disastrous consequences will be entailed by the reckless remarks made by such half-wits…”
