In the last episode of Karwar special watch and learn how to make Kashaaya / Kashay from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani.

Kashaaya is a healthy hot beverage prepared from Kashaya powder. The powder is a mixture of roasted coriander seeds, cumin seeds & fennel seeds.

Ingredients:

4 Cups Water
2 Cups Water
1 tbsp Kashaaya Powder (coriander seeds, cumin seeds & fennel seeds)
Sugar, as required

Method:

- To make the kashaaya powder in a pan dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds and fennel seeds. Let it cool down. Grind everything to a fine powder. Kashaaya powder is ready to be used.
- In a pan heat some water and milk.
- Add kashaaya powder and sugar. Give a stir.
- Let everything boil for 5-7 minutes.
- Kashaaya is ready to be served.
