TEC 12706 Grow Box

Thermoelectric Cooler Peltier with Heat-sinks and Fans

it's a part of something bigger
I made it using

TEC-12706 Peltier

Two Aluminum Heat-sinks from a Pentium 2 and a Pentium 4 CPU

Thermally Conductive Paste

A Wooden frame made of Soft wood and some leftover slightly harder compact wood (used for drawers and cupboards)

"Metal-Strips" using empty cat food cans and then after cutting , folding and Using a hammer, flattening them and drilling holes in them for screws

Heat tolerant Plastic Food Containers that came with food

12 volts Pc cooler fans

Wires , Electric-Tape , Hot-glue , Screws , Nails , and a-lot of Optimism

It works the cold side gets cold and hot side gets hot as expected now I'm testing it and now i want to make a controller for it with temperature sensors and current control using mosfets and maybe current sensors to actively sense and control the current, i don't want to use relays for this
