Residents in some eastern areas of Ireland experienced sub-zero temperatures as strong, cold winds continued late in the first week of January.Amateur weather forecaster Alan O’Reilly, who runs the website CarlowWeather.com, filmed this footage amid strong winds and deep snow on Lugnaquilla in County Wicklow on January 7.
