And these are the closing figures on the market.
Wall Street relinquished earlier gains on Thursday,... after President Trump said he wants a 'stronger dollar.'
And following that comment from Trump in Davos,... the U.S. dollar regained losses against a basket of major currencies.
The Dow Jones and the S&P 500 closed at their highest levels ever-- with the Dow popping 140-points to close at 26,392-point-7-9, and the S&P 500 at 2,839-point-2.
The tech heavy Nasdaq closed at 7,411.
And over in Europe,... shares fell on Thursday as remarks from European Central Bank chief Mario Draghi kept the euro running-- sending the currency to a three-year high against the greenback.
Most of the euro zone sectors ended in the negative territory,... with the euro zone STOXX 50 fealling zero-point-4 percent to close at 3,630,... and Germany's DAX also closing down a near one-percent at 13,298.
Here in Korea,.... shares finished at an all-time high on Thursday--
The benchmark KOSPI gained 24 points or about one-percent to close at 2,562-point-2-3 over strong corporate earnings reports.
The junior bourse KOSDAQ, too,... went up a near half-a-percent to close at 898-point-6.
