U.S. stocks ended lower after a choppy trading session on Thursday, as investors fretted over trade tensions and rising oil prices.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 55 points, or zero-point-two percent, to 24,713-point-nine.
The S&P 500 edged down two points, or zero-point-one percent, to 2,720.
The Nasdaq shed around 16 points, or zero-point-two percent, to 7,382.
In Korea...
The country's main stock market closed lower on escalating uncertainties surrounding inter-Korean relations.
The benchmark KOSPI moved down eleven points, or slightly less than half-a-percent, to 2,448.
The secondary KOSDAQ was up zero-point-six percent at 855-point-six.
The Korean won fell against the U.S. dollar.
