Ingredients:-
250 gms. Mango Pickle (washed, diced and sundried for a day)
1½ tsp. Salt or as required
1½ tsp. Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp. Turmeric Powder
1 tsp. Asafoetida
2 tsp. Onion Seeds
1 cup Mustard Oil.
Whole Spices:-
1½ tsp. Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp. Black Peppercorns
2 tbsp. Fennel Seeds
1½ tsp. Fenugreek Seeds
Method:-
1. Roast the whole spices and grind them in a mixer/grinder to a coarse powder.
2. Mix all the ingredients including the roasted spices in a bowl.
3. Fill the pickle in a glass jar, close the lid tightly and let it rest in scorching sunlight for 6-7 days making sure you stir it every day.
