Conservative commentator Ann Coulter recently called President Trump "a shallow, lazy ignoramus," adding to her numerous criticisms of the leader she once enthusiastically supported. She made the comment on Tuesday during an event at Columbia University, reports the Daily Beast. When asked to explain why she backed Trump in the first place, Coulter replied, "I knew he was a shallow, lazy ignoramus, and I didn't care." In regard to her change of heart, she noted, "He's not giving us what he promised at every single campaign stop." Coulter has done a great deal of tweeting about the disparities between Trump's promises and his actions. After the airing of adult film star Stormy Daniels' recent interview with CBS' "60 Minutes," Coulter tweeted, "So Stormy says she and Trump had sex only once." "I guess if you want the guy to screw you repeatedly, you have to be one of his voters," she further noted. Coulter also commented on Trump signing a $1.3 trillion spending bill that does not meet his border security funding demands and later saying he didn't like it and will not approve such legislation in the future. Her tweets on that matter included, "CONGRATULATIONS, PRESIDENT SCHUMER!" and, "'I will never sign another bill like this again.' Yeah, because you'll be impeached."
