Mike Tran’s House Wonton Noodle Soup at Mein is a fusion of flavors from the places he’s lived in, from Cambodia to Malaysia to Hong Kong. Chef Tran is a Cambodian-born refugee who found himself in Houston, Texas after the Vietnam War. He discovered his love for cooking through designing restaurants, and now operates seven different Asian restaurants, including Mein, his Hong Kong-inspired spot that takes him back to his Cantonese roots.
