River of no Return (1954) HD

Matt Carter, who lives with his son Mark on a farm not far from the Canadian border, one day while he was on the bank of the nearby river, saw a raft drifting: on the raft he saw two people, a man and a woman. Matt helps them come ashore and offers them hospitality on his farm: the man is an adventurer, named Harry, the woman is his friend, the beautiful May. Harry, who has won a gold mine gambling, is in a great hurry to go to the nearby town to register the transfer of ownership. Since Matt refuses to give him his horse, Harry takes it from him by force and also takes possession of his rifle: May, who does not approve of this way of proceeding, remains on the farm. An incursion by Indians forces Matt, who is left defenseless, to flee with Mark and May across the river. Having arrived in the city, after an adventurous journey, Matt sets out in search of Harry, who he wants to punish for his arrogance. But Harry, also stimulated by jealousy, faces his defenseless opponent, with the intention of killing him; when a rifle shot knocks him to the ground. Mark, who intervened in his father's defense, shot him. May, who has learned to love Matt and is fond of Mark, will be able to start a new existence with them.
