00:00 People with sclerosis of the lateral amyotrophic and their families have been waiting for a speedy
00:06 acceptance of the civil invalidity.
00:10 Finally, through the implementation of these guidelines, the acceptance will be more tempestuous
00:15 and will allow these people to enjoy all the rights of assistance they need and that,
00:22 rightly, the institutions must recognize.
00:25 The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has been temporarily activated.
00:30 I have asked the IMS to adapt the timing, with respect to the acceptance and the evaluation
00:37 of the civil invalidity.
00:39 On this, there has been an IMS ability to be able to emanate the guidelines.
00:44 Finally, people with sclerosis and their families will be comforted by an action that is adequate
00:53 to their needs, needs of care, assistance, to be helped in a part of their existence
00:59 so delicate and also so fragile.
01:02 The guidelines were issued yesterday by IMS and today there are the 40 years of AISLA,
01:09 an association that has done so much to be able to fight for all those rights that concern
01:17 people with sclerosis and also for the help to the families that take care of these people
01:23 and that today can celebrate having a feeling of relief, also of comfort, compared to the fact
01:31 that their requests for help have been finally heard.
01:35 I must say that as Deputy Minister of Social Policy I am particularly happy that the State
01:44 has been able to give attention and care to people who have every right to see a neighbouring State.
