00:00Terna has joined the first innovation hub for the development of skills.
00:26CDP, at the Borsa di Milano, the third multi-stakeholder forum focused on young people, innovation and sustainability.
00:33Autostrade, Italy district, 50 companies at the meeting on the site.
00:41Promote technological innovation and promote the development of skills in the Tunisian energy sector,
00:47further strengthening the ties between Italy and Tunisia and contributing to the achievement of the goals of the Mattei plan for Africa.
00:55These are the main aims of the new Terna Innovation Zone, the first innovation hub in Africa managed by the Italian group,
01:02which strengthens the strategic partnership between the two countries, inaugurated in Tunisia.
01:07Strengthening the partnership between Italy and Tunisia, the Terna Innovation Zone here in Tunisia
01:13aims to become a catalyst for innovation and strengthening skills in the energy and technological sector for the two countries.
01:24The Terna Innovation Zone Tunisia is included in the widest context of the Mattei plan as an enabling and synergistic initiative
01:32compared to the so-called ELMED project, which will connect for the first time the electric systems of Europe and North Africa.
01:40The Terna Innovation Zone aims to strengthen the ecosystem of innovation in support of innovative entrepreneurship,
01:47acting as a specialized training laboratory that will contribute to the progress of the energy sector of the North African country.
01:54The initiative, therefore, is not only a technological push, but also a concrete project of international cooperation and socio-economic development.
02:03Tunisia and Italy are fundamental, so fundamental that we naturally speak of a line Tunisia-Italy,
02:13therefore of continuous current, but also fundamental that there is this commitment of Terna with the Tunisian society
02:22to develop a world of innovation, of training, of involvement.
02:29It is a model that is the model of the Mattei plan, that of integration between the two realities.
02:35Palazzo Mezzanotta Milano, headquarters of Borsa Italiana, hosted the third edition of the Multistakeholder Forum of the Cassa Deposit e Prestiti group,
02:46during which the strategic interlocutors of the group and the civil society discussed young people, innovation and sustainability.
02:53These are the key words of the forum's 2025 edition, during which the Italians,
03:00as a result of the BVA-DOXA investigation, discussed sustainability and artificial intelligence,
03:07from which emerges the desire for pragmatism of the UNDER-35 on ESG,
03:12a pragmatism made of concrete and credible objectives that Cassa Deposit e Prestiti also chose to adopt in its new ESG 2025-2027 plan.
03:22On the ESG approach, Cassa Deposit e Prestiti has a pragmatic approach.
03:27We live in a time when many things are being discussed.
03:30We must not be fundamentalists on either side.
03:33We know that the climate challenge is still perceived by young people today as one of the main challenges, if not the main one.
03:40So we must continue to invest responsibly, but today we are talking about the right transition,
03:45a transition that also pays attention to social impacts.
03:49So, as always, common sense is always the best way.
03:54Cassa Deposit e Prestiti maintains commitments,
03:57we have made very important efforts in our activity,
04:01it maintains commitments with a pragmatic approach and, let's say, without fundamentalism.
04:05In the panorama of technological innovation, artificial intelligence has a role as an absolute protagonist.
04:11For the President of CDP, for Europe to be competitive with China and the United States,
04:16it is necessary to enter the field without being stopped by over-regulation.
04:21China is investing huge amounts of money in technology.
04:25In the United States, when we talk about investments, for example, in artificial intelligence,
04:30we are talking about hundreds of billions.
04:33As long as Europe remains divided in many Member States,
04:37in many initiatives that become smaller and at a comprehensive level,
04:43and then very fragmented, you understand that the risk is that Europe is cut off.
04:49Today it is a risk, but Europe still has the skills, not just the resources, to be able to do it.
04:56And that's why I talked about a crossroads and an ambition of a Europe that doesn't just aim to regulate,
05:06but also what is right to do, but that is focused on playing.
05:12The top of 50 large Italian companies in a meeting on the construction site.
05:16A symbolic place chosen to focus on the Distretto Italia project,
05:20of the consortium of companies ELIS, the non-profit entity of orientation and training,
05:25born in 2023, which opened the activities of the new year
05:29with a primary goal of training 941 people on the national territory.
05:34Distretto Italia represents a very important project,
05:38Distretto Italia represents an experience that was born two years ago
05:43from the need and intuition to imagine, to build the jobs that were then seen in these construction sites,
05:52necessary to do these great works.
05:56The energy and data sector and the transport sector are, in 2025,
06:00the two areas in which the companies of Distretto Italia record the need for training
06:05and a higher professional enrollment, follows the great works.
06:10There is work and we need to create those schools that can enroll people to work.
06:16With the schools of the Distretto Italia jobs that we celebrate here today,
06:20we have already trained more than 800 people in the last two years,
06:24with an enrollment rate of 97%.
06:28The meeting took place inside the construction site of the new San Donato gallery,
06:32an infrastructure 923 meters long of the route towards the south of the A1,
06:36between Florence South and Incisa,
06:38has also seen the intervention of young people who,
06:40thanks to one of the 60 free training courses in the last year and a half,
06:44have started a career path.
06:47I deal with cost control and recovery of the works of the 8-2,
06:52so both the gallery and the external works of the expansion of the third carriageway.
06:56It is a job that allows you to see the works on the field
07:01and therefore attend daily to the advancement of the gallery.
07:04It is certainly an experience not to be experienced every day.
07:32Bioeconomia closes the third edition of Terra Next.
07:38Paradise Music Festival starts the ice concerts.
07:53450 candidates from Italy and Europe,
07:5622 accelerated start-ups, 3.5 million euros invested directly by the program
08:00and 10.5 million euros collected between follow-on and external investors.
08:04These numbers recount the success of the first three years of Terra Next,
08:08today a consolidated reality and a point of reference for innovation in the sector of bioeconomy.
08:13Terra Next is a European Unicum,
08:16it is in fact the first vertical acceleration program on circular bioeconomy.
08:22I would say that our start-ups have achieved concrete goals,
08:27both from the point of view of financing and from the point of view of customers.
08:31We have held more than 54 workshops to promote growth,
08:37thanks to a network of national and local partners.
08:43Start-ups, a very important fact, are for 48% profitable,
08:49from the south and 22, 5 from the territory of Campania.
08:57Launched in 2022 in the area of the national network of CDP Venture Capital accelerators,
09:02the project was developed in collaboration with Intesa San Paolo Innovation Center
09:06and Cariplo Factory, which takes care of management.
09:09Its goal is to support and accelerate the best entrepreneurial ideas
09:13capable of transforming bioeconomy into a sustainable and competitive development engine.
09:18Through the Terra Next program, we have accompanied more than 22 start-ups
09:23to collect initial capital, and several of these have already collected additional capital,
09:29for a total of 3.4 million euros invested by us
09:32and another 5 million euros invested by other private investors within the same start-ups.
09:37So we have generated the budget so that this innovation can go on the market
09:41and can continue to develop and grow.
09:44In particular, 40% of these start-ups are midday start-ups.
09:48For us, therefore, this result is particularly important
09:52and shows the desire to connect acceleration programs with the local ecosystem,
09:57with territorial partners, with territorial companies,
10:00to promote innovation and growth not only of start-ups but also of our partners.
10:04We have an innovation hub in this office for 8 years now
10:09and therefore we are the natural reference point for start-ups and Southern SMEs
10:13for everything related to innovation.
10:15Then, of course, we do it in collaboration with all certified incubators,
10:20we do it with accelerators such as those of Terra Next today,
10:23we do it above all by providing the large network of SMEs
10:28that we follow daily in their activities to do the most natural job of a bank,
10:34that of connecting those who ask for innovation with those who offer it.
10:38The bioeconomy sector is a strategic pillar for the Italian economy.
10:42In 2023, the share recorded a 2.2% growth compared to the previous year,
10:48reaching a total value of 437.5 billion euros,
10:52employing about 2 million people.
10:54This data emerged during the Demo Day,
10:56the final event of the third edition of Terra Next,
10:59which saw the comparison between specialized investors, start-ups and sector associations.
11:04A moment of synthesis and vision of the future of the bioeconomy,
11:07where innovation and sustainability intertwine to design new scenarios of growth and development.
11:16The magic of ice concerts.
11:18At the Milka Paradise Dome,
11:20an igloo theater with 200 seats and 2,600 square meters,
11:24the Paradise Music Festival took off on January 16th,
11:28the tribute that will bring on the Presena Glacier, between the Ecamonica Valley and the Val di Sole,
11:33great names of Italian music, alternated with local groups.
11:36As of April 5th, 29 appointments are scheduled.
11:40The exceptionality of the tribute is made up of the instruments sculpted in the ice,
11:45played by the orchestra that accompanies the exhibitions of the guests in the signpost.
11:49The instruments were created by three artists born and raised between Ponte di Legno and Vermilio,
11:54who over time specialized in this technique.
11:57Starting from a base of water and compacted snow, then transformed into ice,
12:01the sculptors have given life to a complex of guitars, bass, violin, viola, cello, drums,
12:07didgeridoo and novelty this year, the cryophone.
12:10The Milka Paradise Dome also has its distinctive element in the ice,
12:15an architectural work that combines modernity and functionality,
12:18responding to the needs of musicians and the public.
12:21The particular design allows the natural ventilation of the heat emanated by the spectators,
12:27leading it up and outside the structure.
12:30The maximum temperature of the capacity is less than 3 degrees.
12:34The instruments, on the other hand, remain cold, at the stage height,
12:38which therefore represents a safe space for their conservation.
12:41The Igloo Theater is composed of four domes,
12:44for a total surface of about 250 square meters and a maximum height of 12 meters.
12:50To achieve this, 750 cubic meters of snow were used,
12:54as well as 40 days of non-stop work,
12:56carried out by a specialized team.
12:58A 100% eco-sustainable structure,
13:01built without any foreign material compared to the context.
13:05In fact, it will melt naturally in the spring in Oltrata.
