00:00 Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.
00:17 So today's video is going to be another celebrity inspired look.
00:20 And this look will be based on Sarah Hyland's 2014 VMA makeup look.
00:25 And I thought her makeup looked absolutely gorgeous and it was a perfect makeup look
00:29 for fall.
00:30 So I definitely wanted to recreate it for you guys because I really think this look
00:33 is incredible for fall time.
00:35 So it's kind of killing two birds with one stone.
00:36 So we do a celebrity inspired look and a fall makeup tutorial in one look.
00:41 But yeah, if you didn't see Sarah at the VMAs, then I will insert a picture right here.
00:45 I think this look is going to be absolutely gorgeous for people, especially with green
00:49 eyes like Sarah has.
00:51 But I think on brown eyes and blue eyes and basically any eye color, this is going to
00:54 be really complimentary.
00:56 And can we just talk about this fabulous lip color?
00:58 Like this is a lip cocktail for me, but I can tell from the picture that Sarah just
01:02 has like one product on.
01:03 I'm just going to take a guess and guess that it's the Lime Crime Velveteen in the color
01:08 Salem because I looked at swatches of that and it looks like the exact same color.
01:12 So if you have that, only use that one product.
01:14 Or if you're looking for just like a one stop shop, just one product for this lip color,
01:18 definitely get that one.
01:19 But this is kind of a mixture of a couple of lip products to achieve that same look.
01:23 But yeah guys, if you're interested in getting this Sarah Hyland inspired makeup look, then
01:26 please keep watching.
01:27 Hey guys, so for this look, we're going to start off with our brows.
01:30 I'm first just going to run a spoolie through them to comb them through.
01:34 And then we're going to start with the Elf Eyebrow Kit in the shade medium.
01:37 Well, that's the shade I have.
01:39 And we're going to start with an angled brush in that wax part of the kit.
01:42 We're just going to run that along the bottom edge of our brow.
01:46 Sarah had very nice full like natural looking brows, so I just wanted to find the lower
01:51 edge so they look nice and clean, but not too precise.
01:54 So I'm just going to take that in a straight line along the bottom of the brow.
01:58 And then once that is through, I'm actually going to comb them with this spoolie because
02:02 we want to keep them nice and natural looking.
02:04 So the spoolie is going to come in handy.
02:06 And then for the rest of the brow, I'm going to use the powder part because this is going
02:10 to make the brows look a lot more natural than using the wax part all the way through
02:13 or using something like the dip brow from Anastasia.
02:16 So we're going to use the powder to make them look nice and natural.
02:19 And I actually love the way my brows turned out and I've been like doing my brows this
02:22 way ever since.
02:24 But yeah, after we fill them in, we're going to set them with our Milani Clear Brow Gel
02:28 and I'm setting them straight up, like running the spoolie through them straight up, not
02:33 like to the side or anything because I want them to be a little bit bushy looking, just
02:36 a little bit, really just natural.
02:38 And then just to define them along the bottom edge only, I'm just going to take that concealer
02:43 just to kind of clean up because I had a lot of stray eyebrow hairs that I didn't get to
02:46 pluck.
02:47 So I'm just cleaning that up with some concealer just so that they don't look too messy.
02:51 So I'm just doing that with a flat definer brush.
02:56 And then we're going to start on the eyes with the Urban Decay Primer Potion in the
02:59 shade, I think this is Greed, and it's basically just like a shimmery gold formula of the primer
03:06 potion.
03:07 And we're using a shimmery base because we're using all matte shadows, but Sarah's eyes
03:12 kind of looked a little bit of a satin finish, so I wanted to mix the shimmery base with
03:16 the matte shadows to kind of make that kind of natural satin finish.
03:20 So first we're going to take Creme Brulee from Makeup Geek on our favorite E40 brush,
03:24 and we're just going to blend that throughout the crease as our transition color, as I usually
03:28 do because this is like the best transition color ever.
03:31 So I'm just buffing that all up in the crease to make a nice transition.
03:34 Now I'm going to take Frappe from Makeup Geek on this Sigma Diffuse Crease Brush, and I'm
03:38 going to run that a little bit more defined in the crease.
03:41 This is just to deepen up the crease and make a little bit more depth of the eye because
03:45 they're basically going to be different variations of the exact same color.
03:48 So now we're going to take the star of the show, Mr. Coco Bear from Makeup Geek, and
03:52 this is on a Sigma E25, and we're going to pack that on the lid first with that brush,
03:57 and then take that same brush and blend it through the crease.
03:59 And you also want to kind of blend it out in a kind of cat eye shape at the edge because
04:04 that's what Sarah's eyes looked like they had.
04:06 They had like a nice little flick at the end with the eyeshadow, not really any liner or
04:10 anything, but just with the eyeshadow as a nice kind of flicked out shape towards the
04:13 outer corner.
04:14 So just take your brush and kind of flick it out, and then take your E40 and blend all
04:18 of those edges together because you want this to be nice and blended and seamless, this
04:22 look.
04:23 So you just want to blend that nicely, and now we're going to take Shimma Shimma on a
04:26 concealer brush and just highlight under the brow bone because she definitely had a nice,
04:30 pretty highlight under that brow.
04:32 So we want to take that just along the bottom of the brow.
04:36 And then we're going to take this L'Oreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner, and we're going
04:40 to run this along our tight line just because it definitely looked like she had very thick
04:45 lashes and I think they ran some black eyeliner under there to give that effect because that's
04:50 what black eyeliner does on the tight line is make your lashes look thicker.
04:54 So I'm just going to run that along the top waterline.
04:57 And then I'm going to take this NYC Showtime Mascara, which is like really super cheap,
05:01 but I actually really like it.
05:02 And we're just going to coat our lashes with it to prepare for some falsies.
05:06 And the falsies in this look are a little bit different.
05:08 We're actually going to be using individual lashes instead of strip lashes because Sarah
05:14 definitely had long ass lashes going on, but you could tell they weren't strips.
05:18 They were definitely individuals.
05:19 So I'm taking these individual medium lashes from Ardell and popping a few of them on.
05:24 I think I did five on each eye and I absolutely love the way they turned out.
05:29 These do take a little bit more time and a little bit more effort, but it is so worth
05:33 it because when you see the difference between your eyes without them and your eyes with
05:38 them, you're like, "Wow, I look like a goddess."
05:41 It is so incredible and I only ever want to use individual lashes for the rest of my life
05:45 now.
05:46 But yeah, look at the difference between my left eye and my right eye.
05:49 It's incredible.
05:51 And so that is actually my eyes with both of the lashes on once I was all finished and
05:54 it looks so natural and beautiful.
05:56 I absolutely love it.
05:58 So once our lashes are on, we're going to move on to the skin.
06:00 I'm using my Dr. Jart Pore Medic Pore Minish Primer first.
06:04 And this is just to perfect the skin nicely, fill in your pores and make a nice smooth
06:09 canvas because Sarah definitely had nice, flawless skin because she was on the red carpet.
06:14 And we're also going to take the L'Oreal Magic Lumi Primer because she had a nice glow-from-within
06:19 kind of look going on and I love this primer for that kind of look.
06:22 So I just spread that all over my face to give me a nice, healthy glow.
06:26 And now I'm going to take a mixture of the Smashbox Liquid Halo Foundation and the YSL
06:31 La Tente Touche Eclat Foundation and I'm going to put this on with a beauty blender to kind
06:35 of sheer it out and give a nice, natural finish because you could kind of see through the
06:40 foundation, like you could see Sarah's natural skin coming through the foundation, which
06:44 I loved.
06:45 It was such a natural and beautiful look, so I definitely wanted to recreate it.
06:49 And now we're going to take our Maybelline Avery Wine Instant Something Concealer, that
06:53 one that we all love, and I'm going to highlight under the eyes and the rest of the face and
06:57 also conceal and blend it out with my beauty blender.
06:59 She definitely had a nice under-eye highlight, so I definitely wanted to do that as well.
07:04 So I'm blending it all out with my beauty blender.
07:06 And then we're going to set that concealer with this Makeup Forever HD Powder.
07:12 You don't really want to set the whole face because she was definitely glowy, not matte,
07:15 but you do want to set that concealer so that it doesn't budge throughout the night.
07:19 So set it nicely.
07:20 And then I'm going to take a Q-tip and just run it along my waterline to get any of that
07:24 extra eyeliner that came down from the top off of the waterline because it was definitely
07:29 not dark down there.
07:30 And now we're going to take Shimma Shimma on the inner corner just to highlight because
07:33 she had a really nice highlight going on in that inner corner.
07:36 I loved it.
07:37 And then we're going to take Coco Bear again on this tiny little crease brush that I love
07:41 to use for my lower lash line.
07:43 And we're just going to buff that along the lower lash line because the look was kind
07:47 of connected through the top and bottom lashes.
07:52 The whole, it was like circular color all around the eye.
07:56 So I wanted to bring the same color down below and I'm blending it out with the E25 brush
08:00 from Sigma just so it's nice and blended.
08:03 And now I'm going to take this baked eyeliner from Urban Decay and put that on the waterline
08:07 because her waterline looked like it had something nice and metallic on it but it was very subtle
08:13 so I figured a gold would look nice and go with the look.
08:17 I don't know.
08:18 It just looked nice to me.
08:19 So then I'm just going to run some mascara on my lower lashes to finish up the eyes.
08:29 And now we're going to start with our cheeks and bronze with the NYX matte bronzer and
08:32 this small duo fiber brush from Sigma.
08:35 And I bronzed a lot for this look because she was really nice and bronzy and I am not
08:40 because I have not tanned in a while.
08:41 So I took a lot of this bronzer around my face.
08:43 That's why I sped this up so much because I figured you didn't want to watch me bronzing
08:46 for 20 minutes.
08:48 And then for blush we're going to take Lovejoy Mineralize Blush from MAC because it's a really
08:52 nice kind of rosy bronze color and I think this is like probably the exact blush she
08:58 used for this red carpet look because it just looks so similar.
09:01 And then I'm going to highlight with the NYX Illuminator in Narcissistic because her glow
09:06 was like not apparent highlighter.
09:08 It was just kind of like a glow from within and that's what I love this highlighter for.
09:12 It definitely gives that glow from within look.
09:14 So I put that on with my Sigma tapered highlighter brush.
09:17 And now for the showstopper, the lips.
09:20 We're going to start with NYX lip liner in the shade Never.
09:22 This is a really nice deep kind of burgundy color and we're going to line the entire lip
09:27 with it.
09:28 And I know what you're thinking.
09:29 This is way too dark and not the color at all.
09:32 But once we line that we're going to put on a bright ass orange lipstick on top of it
09:37 and it makes the perfect color.
09:39 This is Wet n Wild.
09:41 I think it's 24 karat gold and mixing this lipstick with this lip liner makes the, I
09:47 think, the exact color that Sarah was wearing.
09:50 I think she was wearing Lime Crime Velveteen in the shade Salem.
09:54 So if you have that obviously use it.
09:56 But I think this combination was like the very spot on.
10:00 So I'm very proud of myself for it.
10:02 And then I took my little flat definer brush that I use to carve out my brows and I carved
10:05 out my lips with it because she had a really nice clean edge around her lips and so I wanted
10:10 to do the same.
10:11 And that's basically it for the look guys.
10:12 I hope you enjoyed.
10:13 Okay guys, that is basically it for the makeup look.
10:16 I hope you enjoyed it.
10:17 Please give this video a thumbs up if you did.
10:19 Thank you all so much for watching and don't forget to hit that subscribe button down below
10:23 so that you can keep up to date with all of my new videos.
10:26 And I'll see you all in my next one beauties.
10:33 Bye!
10:38 Going to make the brows look a lot more natural than using the wax part all the way through
10:42 or using something like the dip brow from Anastasia.
10:45 So we're going to use the powder to make them look nice and natural and I actually love
10:48 the way my brows turned out and I've been like doing my brows this way ever since.
10:52 But yeah, after we fill them in we're going to set them with our Milani Clear Brow Gel
10:56 and I'm setting them straight up, like running the spoolie through them straight up, not
11:01 like to the side or anything because I want them to be a little bit bushy looking.
11:05 Just a little bit.
11:06 Really just natural.
11:07 And then just to define them along the bottom edge only I'm just going to take that concealer
11:11 just to kind of clean up because I had a lot of stray eyebrow hairs that I didn't get to
11:15 pluck.
11:16 So I'm just cleaning that up with some concealer just so that they don't look too messy.
11:20 And I'm just doing that with a flat definer brush.
11:24 And then we're going to start on the eyes with the Urban Decay Primer Potion in the
11:28 shade I think this is Greed and it's basically just like a shimmery gold formula of the primer
11:34 potion.
11:35 And we're using a shimmery base because we're using all matte shadows but Sarah's eyes kind
11:41 of looked a little bit of a satin finish so I wanted to...
11:59 Hey guys welcome back to my channel.
12:00 So today's video is going to be another celebrity inspired look and this look will be based
12:05 on Sarah Hyland's 2014 VMA makeup look and I thought her makeup looked absolutely gorgeous
12:11 and it was a perfect makeup look for fall.
12:13 So I definitely wanted to recreate it for you guys because I really think this look
12:16 is incredible for fall time.
12:18 So it's kind of killing two birds with one stone so we do a celebrity inspired look and
12:22 a fall makeup tutorial in one look.
12:24 But yeah if you didn't see Sarah at the VMAs then I will insert a picture right here.
12:29 I think this look is going to be absolutely gorgeous for people especially with green
12:32 eyes like Sarah has but I think on brown eyes and blue eyes and basically any eye color
12:37 this is going to be really complimentary.
12:39 And can we just talk about this fabulous lip color?
12:41 Like this is a lip cocktail for me but I can tell from the picture that Sarah just has
12:46 like one product on.
12:47 I'm just going to take a guess.
12:48 You want this to be nice and blended and seamless this look.
12:51 So you just want to blend that nicely and then we're going to take Shimma Shimma on
12:54 a concealer brush and just highlight under the brow bone because she definitely had a
12:58 nice pretty highlight under that brow.
13:01 So we want to take that just along the bottom of the brow.
13:05 And then we're going to take this L'Oreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner and we're going
13:09 to run this along our tight line just because it definitely looked like she had very thick
13:14 lashes and I think they ran some black eyeliner under there to give that effect because that's
13:18 what black eyeliner does on the tight line is make your lashes look thicker.
13:22 So I'm just going to run that along the top waterline and then I'm going to take this
13:26 NYC Showtime Mascara which is like really super cheap but I actually really like it
13:31 and we're just going to coat our lashes with it to prepare for some falsies.
13:35 And the falsies in this look are a little bit different.
13:37 We're actually going to be using individual lashes instead of strip lashes because Sarah
13:42 definitely had long ass lashes going on but you could tell they weren't strips.
13:46 They were definitely individuals.
13:48 So I'm taking these individual medium lashes from Ardell and popping a few of them on.
13:53 And guess that it's the Lime Crime Velveteen in the color Salem because I looked at swatches
13:58 of that and it looks like the exact same color.
14:00 So if you have that, only use that one product or if you're looking for just like a one stop
14:04 shop just one product for this lip color, definitely get that one.
14:07 But this is kind of a mixture of a couple of lip products to achieve that same look.
14:11 But yeah guys, if you're interested in getting this Sarah Hyland inspired makeup look then
14:15 please keep watching.
14:16 Hey guys, so for this look we're going to start off with our brows.
14:19 I'm first just going to run a spoolie through them to comb them through and then we're going
14:23 to start with the ELF Eyebrow Kit in the shade Medium.
14:26 Well that's the shade I have.
14:27 And we're going to start with an angled brush in that wax part of the kit.
14:31 We're just going to run that along the bottom edge of our brow.
14:35 Sarah had very nice full like natural looking brows so I just wanted to find the lower edge
14:40 so they look nice and clean but not too precise.
14:43 So I'm just going to take that in a straight line along the bottom of the brow.
14:47 And then once that is through I'm actually going to comb them with this spoolie because
14:50 we want to keep them nice and natural looking.
14:53 So the spoolie is going to come in handy.
14:55 And then for the rest of the brow I'm going to use the powder part because this is going
14:58 to mix the shimmery base with the matte shadows to kind of make that kind of natural satin
15:03 finish.
15:04 So first we're going to take Creme Brulee from Makeup Geek on our favorite E40 brush
15:08 and we're just going to blend that throughout the crease as our transition color as I usually
15:11 do because this is like the best transition color ever.
15:14 So I'm just buffing that all up in the crease to make a nice transition.
15:18 Now I'm going to take Frappe from Makeup Geek on this Sigma Diffuse Crease Brush and I'm
15:22 going to run that a little bit more defined in the crease.
15:25 This is just to deepen up the crease and make a little bit more depth of the eye because
15:28 they're basically going to be different variations of the exact same color.
15:32 So now we're going to take the star of the show, Mr. Coco Bear from Makeup Geek and this
15:36 is on a Sigma E25 and we're going to pack that on the lid first with that brush and
15:40 then take that same brush and blend it through the crease.
15:43 And you also want to kind of blend it out in a kind of cat eye shape at the edge because
15:47 that's what Sarah's eyes look like they had.
15:49 They had like a nice little flick at the end with the eyeshadow and not really any liner
15:53 or anything but just with the eyeshadow is a nice kind of flicked out shape towards the
15:57 outer corner.
15:58 So just take your brush and kind of flick it out and then take your E40 and blend all
16:02 of those edges together.
