00:00 Hello there. It's rain, showers or sunshine through the next few days.
00:04 The weather's a little bit more mobile.
00:06 Even so, it remains fairly changeable with some wet weather from time to time.
00:11 In fact, through Tuesday evening, we continue to see a feed of showers
00:15 across Northern Ireland, central and southern parts of Scotland,
00:18 northern and eastern counties of England.
00:20 A driving wind across Shetland and Orkney. Some showery bursts here.
00:24 But overnight into Wednesday morning, clearer skies across much of England and Wales.
00:29 Away from northern England and also central and northern areas of Scotland
00:32 where we will see some low temperatures. It's going to turn a lot cooler.
00:36 So a chilly start to the day come Wednesday morning.
00:39 Lowest temperatures possibly down to around 5 degrees Celsius.
00:43 And even across the Midlands, we could see temperatures around 9 or 10 Celsius
00:47 as we enter Wednesday.
00:49 First thing on Wednesday morning, you can see this cloud here across southern Scotland,
00:53 northern and eastern England. Still some showers continuing.
00:56 Brighter skies towards the south as well as the north.
00:59 But thickening cloud through the morning will bring outbreaks of rain
01:02 around lunchtime to Northern Ireland.
01:05 Eventually that rain will clip the west country through the afternoon,
01:08 western parts of Wales and push in across the western strip of Scotland.
01:13 Elsewhere, it's a fine day despite a few showers lingering across eastern counties.
01:18 You'll see some sunshine and temperatures typically 20 to 24 degrees Celsius.
01:23 Now through Wednesday evening, this massive cloud and outbreaks of rain
01:28 slowly edge their way across Scotland, push in across the Midlands and northern England,
01:33 central and southern England. Some persistent bursts to come as by around late evening
01:38 we'll see that rain arrive across eastern counties of England, eastern Scotland
01:43 and much of mainland Scotland with some showers to follow.
01:46 The rain could turn heavy overnight across some parts as we see the winds pick up
01:51 from the south east across Scotland.
01:53 However, a key feature of the weather into Thursday morning will be how mild it is.
01:57 Yes, it will be wet, but temperatures holding up around 13, 14, even 15 degrees Celsius.
02:02 Showery bursts continue to feed in as that rain clears towards the south east
02:07 and north east of the country. And again, the odd heavier downpour can't be ruled out.
02:12 So through Thursday, this is the picture through the morning.
02:15 Quite a breeze, still rather muggy and in fact we'll see lots of low cloud
02:20 shrouding the hills and coastlines towards the west with an onshore wind coming in.
02:25 The cloud will break up through the afternoon with some showers to follow
02:28 as temperatures yet again reach 21 to 23 degrees Celsius.
02:32 Now, Friday's looking like a quieter day. There'll be some brighter skies around.
02:37 Certainly that'll be the case for the central belt of Scotland, north east Scotland
02:41 seeing some showers and northern Ireland seeing one or two showers coming in.
02:45 They could just clip more southern and western areas of England and Wales,
02:48 but across northern counties you'll have a better day all round with some sunshine
02:52 and again, temperatures rising into the 20s.
02:55 So that's the quiet weather on Friday, but come the weekend, this low pressure system comes in.
03:01 It's a mature low. It will turn breezy and it'll be mostly showers,
03:06 which will be heavy with the risk of thunder. In between, we'll see some brighter weather
03:11 as this low drifts towards the north and the winds slowly ease through the latter part of Sunday.
03:17 Sunday. Still though, the chance is some showers.
