00:00Good morning. Welcome to your latest weather update from the Met Office. It should be another
00:03warm and sunny day for many of us. There is a risk of some further torrential downpours
00:08just for a few areas, particularly across eastern areas of England through this morning
00:12but also into the afternoon. Elsewhere across England, Wales, many northern areas of England
00:17as well as eastern Scotland should stay dry and bright through much of the day. It will
00:21feel rather warm in the sunshine. But there is a bit of a change on the way. As you can
00:25see, wet weather spreading into Northern Ireland, much of Scotland by the end of the
00:29afternoon and the breeze will really pick up. There is a risk of some quite heavy bursts
00:33in that band of rain as well. Where it does stay dry, temperatures still climbing into
00:37the mid to high 20s for some of us, still feeling quite humid as well as I think into
00:42this afternoon. Even where we do see the rain, I think it will still feel quite humid until
00:46before this area of band of rain clears through. Now, that band will push south-eastwards through
00:52this evening, spreading into northern areas of England, Wales, south-west of England as
00:56well through this evening. Dry across central and eastern areas of England at least to start
01:01this evening and turning dry by the end of the night across parts of Northern Ireland
01:05and much of Scotland as well. And here, temperatures will fall away a little lower than they have
01:09done lately, particularly across northern England. I think you'll start to notice a
01:12difference to the temperatures. Quite a lot of cloud around in the central areas of England,
01:17and in the south, quite a lot of low cloud and drizzly rain through the morning. And
01:22that rain could turn quite heavy as it pushes into southern England, the south-east through
01:26Saturday, so a bit of a cloudy and damp day, a very different feel through Saturday compared
01:31to this week so far. Further north though, northern England seeing plenty of sunshine,
01:35much of Wales as well, a fairly bright afternoon to come. A little sunshine, highs of around
01:4021, 22 degrees, lower than it has been, but still quite pleasant. Across the far north
01:45and west, there's a risk of some heavier showers and some blustery winds as well. Temperatures
01:49here are a little below average, particularly where the winds are a bit stronger. Now into
01:54Sunday, we'll see that weather front push away to the south and east, so behind it,
01:58a ridge of high pressure brings some fine weather for many areas, at least to start
02:01the day on Sunday. But further wet weather will likely spread in from the west to end
02:06the day. You can catch up with more details about the full weekend forecast on our YouTube
