00:53 Duterte and Romualdez are seen walking arm-in-arm during President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s send-off
00:58 to Malaysia, where he is set for a two-day state visit.
01:02 In June, Duterte appeared to have taken a swipe at Speaker Martin Romualdez after Duterte's
01:06 close ally, Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, was unceremoniously stripped of the senior
01:12 deputy speakership post.
01:14 Before the House took a two-month break in May, Arroyo and Romualdez exchanged pleasantries
01:19 and smiled for a photo op during a plenary session.
01:22 Meantime, Marcos seems relieved his vice president is getting along with his cousin.
01:26 "The speaker, the vice president canoodling is always a very good sign."
01:31 Filipinos on social media react to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s second State of the
01:37 Nation address.
01:38 "The savior that we have revived and revived is a great help."
01:45 Filipinos online disagree, with one person asking, "What country are you in?"
01:51 In another part of his speech, Marcos refers to law enforcers involved in the drug trade.
01:55 "We cannot tolerate corruption or incompetence in government."
02:00 Social media users are quick to point out the irony of his statement.
02:04 Marcos wraps up his speech saying, "Dumating na po ang bagong Pilipinas."
02:09 Filipinos on social media point to endemic problems in the country, like dynasties and
02:14 socioeconomic issues.
02:18 Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista says the shortage of plastic driver's license
02:22 cards could end by September.
02:25 Bautista and the newly appointed Land Transportation Office Chief Vigor Mendoza II received the
02:30 first batch of plastic license cards on Tuesday, July 25.
02:34 The initial batch of at least 5,000 plastic cards will be used to make licenses for overseas
02:39 Filipino workers and new driver's license applicants.
02:43 The supplier is expected to produce 15,000 to 30,000 daily as part of its commitment
02:48 to deliver one million cards within the next two months.
02:51 Bautista says up to 130,000 cards are expected to be issued by September.
02:56 Those who receive paper licenses could claim their physical license cards by around August
03:01 or September.
03:02 Meanwhile, motorists can continue using their electronic driver's license, which can be
03:06 accessed through the LTMS portal.
03:10 Twenty-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg is found guilty of disobeying a police
03:15 order to leave a climate protest.
03:17 Thunberg was sentenced to pay a fine.
03:20 She was part of a group of protesters that blocked the road for oil trucks in Malmo Harbor.
03:25 Thunberg admits she had been part of the protest and disobeyed the police order, but pleaded
03:29 not guilty and said she was acting out of necessity.
03:32 Thunberg told the court her actions were justifiable, adding, "We are in an emergency that threatens
03:38 life, health, and property."

03:48 BGYO member Jello says he thinks, "We have a better shot at making P-POP a global phenomenon
03:54 now by supporting both new and earlier acts."
03:57 Each member also shares the concepts for their dream projects with a member sharing affinities
04:02 to emo imagery, dance pop, ballads, rock, rap, and R&B.
04:07 The group also says it is excited for its upcoming releases, with member Miki saying,
04:12 "It will be really something different.
04:14 We're preparing for quite a lot."
04:16 The group shares the spotlight with P-POP powerhouses SB19 and Alamat in Miss Mojo's

04:36 But the 7-foot-3 Soto, still recovering from a back injury, does not suit up yet and instead
04:41 hoists some shots in street clothes after practice ended.
04:45 Assistant coach Jong Uychiko says Soto has been healthy and they expect him to join training
04:49 in the next few days.

05:29 With a win, the 46-ranked Filipinas now have three points and a -1 goal difference after
05:35 playing two games.
05:37 Training coach Alan Stochich says, "I think they showed true heart, bringing out their
