00:05 Tests have confirmed that dead seabirds which washed up on the beaches in Blackpool had been suffering from avian flu.
00:11 Dozens of dead birds were found on the tideline on July 4th, including cormorants and seagulls,
00:16 and there were also reports of dead birds on beaches near Tomberdon Road in neighbouring St Anne's.
00:21 A sample of birds removed by Blackpool Council was sent to DEFRA for tests which confirmed avian flu.
00:26 Detectives investigating the death of Damien Jackson have released CCTV image of his last confirmed movements
00:33 as they continue to appeal for witnesses.
00:35 Police were called by North West Ambulance Service to a flat in Regent Street in Lancaster at 11.04 on Tuesday July 25th
00:42 to reports of a sudden death and 50-year-old Damien Jackson was found deceased within the property.
00:47 The CCTV image shows Damien in Aldi on Aldcliffe Road in Lancaster at 10.18am on Sunday July 23rd.
00:55 A police home office post-mortem has been concluded and established that Damien died as a result of multiple injuries.

01:06 Officers from the Ribble Valley Response Team stopped this vehicle after receiving community information
01:11 that it was involved in the supply of drugs.
01:13 The occupant was found in possession of a large quantity of drugs and cash which have now been seized.
01:19 Wigan is set to welcome a new Aldi after plans for the new store was approved by the council.
01:24 The former Arnold Clark site on Wigan Road, Ashton and Makefield will be demolished and replaced with a shop and customer parking area.

01:39 Visitors to Preston's Averton Park were treated to a bizarre sight at the weekend as a huge gathering of Kate Bush look-alikes descended on the city.
