00:00 Well, I don't know if words can explain it.
00:02 I mean, it's truly a great day for me.
00:07 I was asked last week, because of the people on the ballot with me,
00:11 it had to be one of them, Banjo.
00:14 I said, probably the only thing I won't feel bad is if he beats me.
00:18 But it's great.
00:19 It's tremendous.
00:22 I wish my mom and dad were here.
00:24 There's a lot of people that are responsible.
00:29 Starting very early on, my older brother Eddie,
00:32 he was a tremendous help to me when I first started.
00:35 Probably the most help to anybody around.
00:39 And of course, driving for Banjo-Matthews,
00:41 that was a great, great experience.
00:45 Being there with all the guys that's already in it
00:47 and being a part of that group of people, which
00:51 makes me very, very proud because I started racing in 1958.
00:58 I had my first NASCAR license in 1960, and I've had one ever since.
01:03 And so to watch NASCAR grow as it has grown and be a part of that
01:09 is extremely important to me.
