00:26 that'll be Kirk Cousins' second year in the system with Kevin O'Connell.
00:29 What I like about what the Bears are doing, finally investing in Justin Fields.
00:33 They figured out midway through last season to let him use his legs to make
00:36 plays, but instead of playing with Darnell Mooney, as his one,
00:39 they move him to the two.
00:40 They go out and get DJ Moore.
00:42 They get Darnell right in the draft, the big offensive tackle out of Tennessee.
00:45 They extend Cole Komet.
00:47 Then they build the defense from front to back, inside out.
00:50 They're going through that rebuilding stage, but
00:52 it looks like they're ready to commit to Justin Fields.
00:55 Well, people forget, when he was at Ohio State,
00:57 he was the most accurate passer in the history of college football.
01:00 That guy can sling it.
01:01 He was just given nothing to work with.
01:03 But still, I'm taking the Packers in this one, and
01:06 maybe that's me getting a little ahead of myself.
01:08 And I have that bias, not just because I spent time in Wisconsin.
01:11 But Ben, you and I literally spoke on the lockdown Big Ten days
01:15 of when Jordan Love was drafted, and we were both flabbergasted by that move.
01:19 And I've seen a guy that has developed from not able to simply complete
01:23 a forward pass to looking better and better every time we saw him on the field,
01:27 working with Christian Watson, working with Romeo Doves, still has Aaron Jones and
01:31 AJ Dillon.
01:32 The offensive line is top ten in the NFL.
01:34 Jair Alexander on the outside, that's still a good defense.
01:37 I bring up all these guys because what the Packers got away from last season was
01:41 Matt LaFleur's system.
01:42 That could be Aaron Rodgers' fault.
01:44 That could be working with young receivers.
01:46 But when you get back to that, he's gonna make things easy for Jordan Love.
01:49 Everything we predicated off the run game with Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon.
01:53 I think it's gonna be a lot more of a simple game plan.
01:55 And going into Chicago, the Packers have proven they know what it takes to win
01:59 their time and time again.
02:00 Maybe there'll be some jitters from Jordan Love.
02:02 I'm gonna be patient with him to open up the season, but
02:05 I'm not gonna be patient with the Packers.
