00:00 >> Jalen did an interview a few weeks ago and
00:02 mentioned that he thought offensively last year you guys were just scratching the surface.
00:06 >> Yeah. >> Was the term he used.
00:08 Do you agree with that and what do you think that means that,
00:11 you know, he was almost scored 40 points a game last season?
00:13 >> Yeah, absolutely.
00:14 I think there's so much more left in the tank just because last season,
00:17 you know, we were figuring everything out still, you know, whether it was installs or
00:20 you know, figuring out the playbook and all those things or
00:23 building that connection with Mike.
00:25 You know, when we out there and we had a lot of success,
00:27 it's our work ethic and on those things going into this season, you know,
00:30 having that base and having that, you know,
00:33 pass to be able to look on like, yeah, would you really do this?
00:35 I think that, you know, that allows us to have that creativity to have that work
00:39 ethic towards, you know, something bigger, a lot more effective.
00:43 I think that we'll be able to go out there this season and
00:44 put an even better product on the field for sure.
00:48 I could be a better leader for this team because I was an older guy and
00:51 I kind of want to lead that role to some of the older guys.
00:53 But now, you know, God willing, it's my last season.
00:55 I want to make sure I make my mark on, you know, these young guys and my peers.
01:00 And I've really been, you know, making some strides, making some efforts to make
01:03 sure I'm being vocal and being out here encouraging guys and leading by example.
01:07 So still something I'm learning, but something I'm glad to do.
