Which? reports shoppers’ trust in grocery sector plummets
According to a study conducted by consumer researcher which?, shoppers’ trust in the grocery sector has fallen to its lowest point since the horsemeat scandal in 2013. With some shoppers saying they have to do without in order to cope with high food prices, we’ll cover that and more a little later on.

00:20 remain high amid the cost of living crisis. Which found as many as 78% of Brits have adjusted
00:25 their habits in response to high food prices, with the most common options being to buy
00:30 cheaper products or opt for budget range items, a quarter of people told Which they had to
00:35 go without some foods, and worryingly, one in seven shoppers even said they had to skip
00:40 meals in order to cope with high food costs. When it came to parents and people on low
00:44 incomes, one in five surveyed resorted to skipping meals.
