00:02 - Toronto Blue Jays have now surpassed
00:05 the Texas Rangers, Cam, in the American League wildcard.
00:10 The Blue Jays hanging on to that last spot right now,
00:12 a half game up on the Rangers,
00:15 and only a half game behind the Seattle Mariners.
00:18 Tampa Bay are starting to run away with things right now
00:22 as far as that wildcard is concerned.
00:24 George, I was on Philadelphia tonight.
00:26 San Diego or that team where I'd be more frustrated
00:29 if I was a fan, if they started winning some games now,
00:33 but let me ask you, Cam, at six and a half,
00:36 do the Friars have one run left in them?
00:39 Six and a half, not insurmountable,
00:41 but there's just not enough racetrack left, is there?
00:44 - That's the thing.
00:45 Like, they're playing great baseball all of a sudden,
00:46 but that's, you have to overtake too many teams.
00:48 It's not gonna happen.
00:49 There's not enough games left.
00:50 So they can go on a heater,
00:51 but they have to have all these other teams fail, right?
00:53 George, like, you gotta basically six and a half,
00:56 it's too many.
00:57 Like, three and a half, four and a half,
00:59 it'll be close,
01:01 but I don't think they're gonna get there, Gabe.
01:02 - One last run for San Diego, George,
01:04 or are they totally done?
01:05 - Do I think they're done?
01:08 Yeah.
01:09 All right, they're Philadelphia now.
01:12 They got one more game against Philly.
01:14 All right, let's just say for giggles here,
01:15 they win that game.
01:17 Then they have three against Houston,
01:18 three against the Dodgers.
01:20 If they can survive that,
01:22 go four and three in these next seven games.
01:25 After that, their schedule is cake.
01:27 I mean, it is cake.
01:28 They're playing Oakland, Colorado, St. Louis,
01:31 at San Fran, at the White Sox to end the season.
