00:00 Okay guys, the first group told me that this season is messy and that's how they would describe it.
00:06 Messy. So Kayla, describe it for me. Is it messy?
00:10 It's messy but it's also, you know, the truth comes out and people are being held accountable
00:20 and that's what was needed.
00:22 Okay, Brandi, you held people accountable this season.
00:28 Why did you feel like you had to do that?
00:30 I mean, it's not necessarily that I was trying to hold people accountable but when you're in
00:37 certain situations, you're gonna speak up. That's just my personality, you know. I just felt like
00:45 when certain things affect the brokerage or our reputation as a brokerage, it was necessary for
00:51 me to speak out about it.
00:52 Because you thought it was a little messy. I'm gonna just keep using the word messy.
00:56 It looked sloppy, like I said.
00:58 Kayla, did you think there was a double standard?
01:02 Absolutely, there's a double standard and I was calling out for what it was.
01:05 And Gio, what is your take on all of this?
01:09 On the messiness.
01:11 Oh wow. You know, it's obviously unprofessional and there's just some hypocrisy.
01:25 Is that the word?
01:26 Yeah, it's a hard word.
01:27 I've said hypocrisy a few times.
01:28 Hypocrisy that went on but, you know, sometimes when you work closely with colleagues in a
01:36 business that's already very like tight-knit, there are lines that are crossed and I'm not
01:43 excusing them but it's not exactly unnatural.
01:52 Tyler and Alex said they're just friends. They told me that earlier.
01:55 Do we think that is really the case?
01:58 I don't know.
02:01 I feel like you'd have to ask them.
02:03 Yes.
02:04 Okay.
02:04 Yeah, Hall's in a relationship now.
02:06 Yeah.
02:07 So I think that they're just friends now.
02:09 My concern is when it just starts bleeding into the office and our reputation here in
02:16 Orange County and real estate and but also friendships, you know what I mean?
02:21 Because aligning yourself with...
02:23 Real estate in Orange County is incestuous.
02:27 It's always had that f***ing reputation.
02:29 Oh, really?
02:30 And yeah, it's nothing new with Tyler and Hall.
02:34 My husband is also in real estate and so I can speak that that is true.
02:38 Well, there is a new realtor but doesn't really have her license yet that comes in
02:45 this season.
02:46 She told me that you gave her the cold, no, not cold shoulder, a freezing ice shoulder.
02:52 Why?
02:54 Why was that the case?
02:55 I mean, I am hard on people because I think that this business is hard on people.
03:03 So if anything, you know, I think how it was portrayed on camera, it was a little bit
03:10 inaccurate as far as the entire context of the conversation.
03:15 Like Jason Oppenheim, he 100, I mean, he said like me grilling her, me giving her that shoulder
03:22 was the right thing to do for her benefit because if she can't handle it a little grilling
03:26 in the office, she's not going to handle surviving in this business.
03:32 So yes, I was maybe a little overly harsh but I'd rather err on that side than just
03:38 say, "Yeah, it's all butterflies and rainbows and you're going to do great and you're going
03:42 to succeed."
03:43 Okay.
03:44 Now, Rose, your relationship, your friendship with the other Alex is also talked about this
03:51 season.
03:52 What made you guys come to the point where she called you unprofessional?
03:56 Well, I think she's projecting on that what she is guilty of.
04:00 It's confession through projection and that's all I'm going to say.
04:06 So it's safe to say that you two are not in a good place anymore.
04:12 Exactly.
04:13 Okay.
04:13 Now, Sean, what about you and Polly?
04:15 We see that you guys were friends last season, kind of at odds this season.
04:20 I think that yes, Polly and I started off as good close friends at first when I joined
04:25 the office.
04:25 I don't really find a true friend to be someone when you set some boundaries and call them
04:31 out on their behavior to just basically dismiss you and tell you that they don't want to hear
04:36 it.
04:36 I feel like true friends tell the truth.
04:39 So I feel like after multiple occasions and multiple conversations with Polly, she just
04:43 didn't want to hear it.
04:44 And I like having supporters and people who keep it real around me that those are the
04:49 friends I've had since I was in seventh grade.
04:51 So I feel like with her, what you saw was a small glimpse, but I feel like there was
04:55 multiple times where I tried to tell her, "Hey, that's not the nicest thing to do," or
04:59 "Hey, you shouldn't speak about something like that," or use those type of terms.
05:02 And over time, when you try enough times, I just kind of keep it at arm's length from
05:07 there.
05:08 Brandi, I can't help but notice you're shaking your head.
05:11 I'm so sorry.
05:12 You're agreeing with what Sean has to say.
05:16 Do you have similar feelings?
05:18 Kind of obvious.
05:18 I do.
05:19 And it's hurtful because as you can see in season one, I was very close with Paul and
05:24 Polly, and that's obviously changed.
05:27 And I think maybe me just being honest and letting them know that I didn't agree with
05:34 the behavior and I thought it was hypocritical has severed those relationships, unfortunately.
05:39 Do you regret telling them?
05:41 Or are you...
05:42 No.
05:42 I don't, just because that's who I am.
05:46 And I've never been friends with anyone that I just sat back and was like a yes man or
05:51 was just like cool with anything.
05:55 You know what I mean?
05:56 And I think a true friend holds others accountable and lets them know, "Hey, I don't like
06:00 it.
06:00 I don't think..."
06:00 And also, it's respected.
06:03 If it's not respected, then you go where you're celebrated and where you're respected, right?
06:07 And honestly, I keep my friends the closest, the ones who call me out on my BS, those are
06:14 the ones I want to keep close in my life.
06:16 The amount of times I've had friends who said, "No, Sean, that was messed up.
06:19 You should reflect and think about that."
06:21 I sit back and I'm like, "Maybe I shouldn't..."
06:23 After you sleep on it, you're like, "You know what?
06:24 Maybe I wasn't the wrong...
06:26 I won't do that again."
06:27 So I feel like it's just...
06:28 Polly's a very specific type of person and there are not just her, there's a few people
06:32 in the office that they don't get upset, they freak when they get called out on the truth.
06:37 And then they would rather turn you into an enemy, into a friend, and that's not a real
06:39 friendship to me.
