00:00 John, the lines are battling the injury bug heading into a week three now in a big time fashion as well. What do you make of that being the case for the Lions?
00:08 Yeah, Vito, real unfortunate. You started the year relatively healthy, but the injury bug has now started to creep up and affect and impact, really impact the Lions. When you look at a contest, a physical contest with the Seahawks, they came away banged up.
00:24 A thigh injury, a thigh bruise for running back David Montgomery, who started to showcase why he was a free agent addition. He potentially could miss a game or two dealing with the thigh bruise.
00:36 You look at Halepulivati Vitae, came back from a severe back injury and worked his way back into the starting lineup. Unfortunately, got injured and potentially is going to miss some time.
00:49 Dan Campbell doesn't believe it'll be an IR stint, but unfortunately, an injury to his knee potentially could sideline the talented offensive lineman for a week or two, maybe even possibly more.
01:01 And you look at obviously Taylor Decker still trying to work his way back. Emmanuel Mosley not being able to line up yet after suffering a hamstring injury, rehabbing from his injury that kept him out all of last year.
01:15 So you recognize this is a Lions team that got banged up. Several players in the game had to leave the game for moments at a time, but luckily several were able to return like Kirby Joseph, Ali McNeil, CJ Gardner Johnson.
01:29 So I look at the vast amount of injuries that took place and you realize, oh boy, it has the potential to impact the Lions in a lot of ways.
01:38 So it's unfortunate when you look at a couple of the players that got banged up, but you realize, you know, in the National Football League, you gotta have the attitude next man up.
01:48 So it'll be interesting to see how the Lions offensive line and running game really produces without potentially some key members of the roster.
01:56 John, thanks for all the insight.
