00:00 This is George Priest of the Liverpool World reporting live from Finch Farm after Sean
00:03 Dice just addressed the media ahead of their trip to Brentford this weekend.
00:06 In terms of team news, he was quickly asked about Dominic Cavallone who did play against
00:09 Arsenal in the defeat last week but he is definitely fit and raring to go this weekend.
00:14 Another player mentioned was Jack Harrison who is yet to make his Everton debut after
00:16 moving from Leeds United on loan in the summer.
00:19 As it stands he has recovered from his long-term injury and he is training with the group but
00:23 there is no chance of him starting this weekend.
00:25 But it's certainly a positive for Dice to have him in the squad as it gives him a different
00:28 dynamic in attack.
00:30 In terms of the other long-term injuries, Seamus Coleman is building up his fitness
00:32 on his own, he is on the grass and running but there is going to be a while before he
00:35 can feature for Everton again.
00:37 The only other two players to mention are Dele Alli and Andrea Gomez.
00:39 Neither have featured for Everton so far this season and there are no expected return dates
00:43 for either player as it stands.
00:45 A question that Dice Watch asked about was the potential of a strike partnership between
00:48 Dominic Cavallone and Beto.
00:50 He claimed that he has always liked playing with two strikers and it's something we saw
00:53 during his time at Burnley when he often would use Ashley Barnes and Jay Rodriguez together
00:56 up top and he has had success in the past and it's not out of the question that we could
01:00 see this partnership for Everton in the coming games.
01:02 Another important topic of conversation was Sean Dice's meeting with 7-7 partners this
01:07 week.
01:08 The two parties came together to have what he called a casual chat just about the surroundings
01:11 and the environment at Everton and what he has felt the challenges have been so far.
01:15 And Dice is hoping that it can be a positive for the fans after what has been a very dismal
01:18 time in terms of their ownership under Fahad Meshiri.
01:21 There is some hope for Everton considering Brentford are winless in the last two games
01:24 losing 1-0 to Newcastle last weekend and drawing 2-1 at home with Bournemouth the previous
01:28 weekend so there is some scope for Dice to go there with some confidence despite their
01:32 dismal start.
01:33 Everton were actually unbeaten against Brentford last season and put in two good performances
01:36 that saw them win 1-0 at Goodison Park and earn a 1-0 draw away at the Community Stadium
01:41 under Frank Lampard so they will be hoping for any sort of repeat result there.
01:45 It will be a very difficult away date for Everton but with a mostly fully fit squad
01:48 they head to Brentford in the hope of turning around what has been a miserable start to
