00:03 - So we bring Joe back in here,
00:04 just picking up what you were putting down there
00:06 with regards to Jefferson and the price point.
00:08 I'll let you continue your thought.
00:10 - Yeah, sorry, I froze up there,
00:11 but I mean, I don't understand,
00:12 you know, it's only a couple outcomes, right?
00:15 It's either the Justin Jefferson smash game,
00:17 or it's gonna be Hawkinson and Jordan Addison
00:20 and everybody else getting that,
00:21 because that bracket coverage you're gonna see
00:23 on Justin Jefferson might not be enough.
00:25 Like they might not have the personnel to do it,
00:27 to stop him.
00:28 So Jefferson's very expensive,
00:29 but he's worth paying up for.
00:30 I think this particular week is one of those spots
00:32 where I mentioned all the one-sided games,
00:35 not to mention some of the weather we're dealing with
00:37 on the East Coast.
00:38 There's gonna be some totals
00:39 that are gonna be not very exciting.
00:42 So what do we do?
00:43 We pivot, we look to the games in conditions
00:45 that we can control.
00:46 We can control that Minnesota game in a dome, right?
00:49 We can control the Detroit game in a dome.
00:51 So let's take the elements out of it.
00:53 Let's take away the one-sided nature
00:55 of some of these contests,
00:55 'cause there's a lot of them.
00:57 And let's go and look for the games
00:58 that could be competitive without a lot of defense.
01:01 And I think that's exactly where we start.
01:03 Now, another place to start, again, is C.D. Lamb,
01:05 who is getting a ton of the looks here.
01:08 This is almost like a practice game, I feel like,
01:09 for the Dallas Cowboys.
01:10 But in a way, I feel like that offense continues
01:12 to need that a little bit.
01:14 They wanna keep moving forward.
01:16 Now that they have new offensive coordinator,
01:18 I think it's gonna take time, naturally,
01:20 for offenses to come together.
01:21 A lot of people are on Tony Power this week,
01:23 and that is probably a good idea.
01:25 But I think they should also strongly consider C.D. Lamb.
01:27 If you don't wanna pay all the way up
01:29 for Justin Jefferson, Lamb is an interesting pivot,
01:31 because you do imagine he's gonna get a ton of targets.
01:33 You do imagine he has touchdown equity.
01:35 Vegas is telling you he has touchdown equity
01:37 if you look at his anytime touchdown number.
01:39 8,500 on Fanduil, 7,700 on DK.
01:42 To me, this is another one of those spots
01:45 where you're gonna see the Dallas Cowboys' defense
01:47 very highly rostered.
01:49 Is that wrong?
01:49 No, it's not.
01:51 Same thing with Kansas City.
01:53 Gonna be a one-sided game.
01:53 They're gonna be heavily rostered.
01:55 Is that wrong?
01:55 No.
01:56 I do think there's some other defenses, though,
01:58 around there, and I do think there's other wide receivers
02:01 besides C.D. Lamb that could be
02:03 in more of those shootout games.
02:04 So Jefferson might have that back and forth
02:07 going on in that game,
02:08 which could be more advantageous for him,
02:10 as opposed for a one-sided situation here
02:14 where Arizona can't keep up
02:16 with the Dallas Cowboys' defense
02:17 or with the Dallas Cowboys' offense.
02:19 This could be a very quiet third quarter on,
02:22 potentially, for this game.
02:24 And that's not the best thing for our fantasy point value.
