Can Razorbacks Beat the Spread Vs. Texas A&M in Arlington?

00:00 I'd probably try to go towards A&M. I think Arkansas dumped a lot into that LSU game.
00:07 We saw them lose at home against BYU, never flirted with covering against Kent, and hardly
00:12 covered against Western Carolina in that opening game. A&M, maybe some of the shine taken off
00:16 because of Miami rolled them. But again, I mean, you go through some of the numbers,
00:20 Tyler Van Dyke's playing like one of the five best quarterbacks in college football. That's
00:23 a really strong Miami team. That was a road matchup. A&M's handled their business outside
00:28 of that. Ben, again, if I'm on this game, I'm on A&M.
00:30 Yeah, my apologies there. This game in Arlington at Jerry's World, of course, for the famed
00:35 alum of Arkansas football, the Razorbacks, 14-7 against the number as an underdog since
00:42 Sam Hibben took over an SEC play. That was back to the start of the 2020 season. And
00:48 we'll talk about it later on as we break down why De'Jawn Edwards is going to have a big
00:51 day. But two players last week for A&M ran for more than 85 yards on the ground against
00:58 Auburn. What can they do today against Arkansas in Arlington? Since the year 2003, the last
01:05 20-plus years in college football, there have been 40 totals in the sport at 36-1/2 or under.
01:12 25 of those 40 have gone under. Where is a total at 36-1/2 today? That would be Kinnick
01:19 Stadium. Tonight, under the lights in primetime between Iowa and Michigan State. Iowa held
01:24 scoreless last week on the road in the wideout in Happy Valley, Kev. I know that wasn't what
01:29 you were hoping to see. A 10-1/2 point spread in favor of the Hawks for a Michigan State
01:34 team that is going through a ton. Mel Tucker officially fired this week by MSU Athletics.
01:40 They have only scored a total of 16 points in their last two outings. Kev, where does
01:46 the offense come today, if at all? Well, the one thing that's not happening for Iowa right
01:50 now is their defense. And I know this is like an unfair expectation, but their defense is
01:56 not creating points for them. And in fact, last week, that first half, it was really
02:00 frustrating. I'm not going to say to her and say, "Oh, I deserved to cover in that game
02:03 against Penn State," but they set themselves up for failure. They should have left that
02:07 first half tied, if not with a lead. And they just could not do simple things that you expect
02:14 from Iowa football here. With that said, this is a Michigan State team that has been such
02:19 a disaster. I'm surprised the Iowa number's not higher. But I don't know if that's people
02:24 seeing what the Hawkeyes did last week and pushing a number down, or it's just a difficult
02:29 line and maybe stay away.
