00:02 And this is not my first storm in my life.
00:20 You know, I think, you know,
00:21 that's credits to my mom and my dad for, you know,
00:24 instilling that in me as a young child,
00:25 just to be able to handle it when things like this happen.
00:28 And I think it's very individualized.
00:32 Like you gotta look at yourself in the mirror, right?
00:34 And I think that's my message when I talk to guys,
00:37 like, you know, even in Buffalo,
00:39 everything wasn't just winning, winning, winning, winning.
00:42 We had tough times there.
00:44 So it was just about us connecting as a team,
00:47 not pointing a finger, but, you know,
00:49 just figuring it out.
00:50 You know, it's like a puzzle, man.
00:51 You gotta figure it out one way or the other,
00:53 but, you know, winning and losing is the same thing.
00:55 I know we look at losing now,
00:57 but the process is the same.
00:58 You know, you gotta come back the next day
01:00 and you gotta continue to do what you did the week before,
01:03 whether you won or whether you lost.
01:04 And, you know, I think that's a lot of things that,
01:06 you know, people sometimes don't understand.
01:08 Like even this journey that we're on right now,
01:11 you know what I mean?
01:12 We're gonna overcome this journey,
01:12 but, you know, the process always looks the same.
01:15 Even if we, you know, would have won the game yesterday,
01:17 we still had to come back
01:18 and get ready to play on Thursday.
01:19 So we're not shying away from anything.
01:22 You know, if anything is making us better,
01:24 it's building us closer,
01:25 it's messing us together as a football team.
01:27 And, you know, sometimes you gotta go through some stuff,
01:30 you know what I mean?
01:31 To get on the other side.
01:32 You know, the thing about this league is,
01:33 you know, the next game comes quick.
01:35 And, you know, I think based off my experience,
01:39 you know, that next day,
01:40 it's a step towards how you want this next game to go.
01:45 And you can even look at it one or two ways.
01:47 Like you could take a step back and, you know,
01:50 feel sorry for yourself, make excuses,
01:52 point the finger, you know, whatever it may be.
01:55 Or you could take a step forward and say,
01:58 listen, this is what we need to get better with,
02:00 understand what it is, and we take positive steps forward.
02:03 So energy today was just, that's what the mindset is.
02:07 That's what my mindset is.
02:08 That's what the guys around me mindset is.
02:10 And that's what we focus on.
02:11 Thursday's gonna be it before we know it.
02:13 So there's no need for us to feel sorry about ourselves.
