00:08 >> Wiring of a quarterback, obviously, number one is leadership.
00:11 You have to be a great leader, you gotta be resilient,
00:13 you gotta be able to handle criticism.
00:15 And then obviously the physical traits, that's a big part of it.
00:18 The accuracy, the timing, the platform, all the things you talk about with that.
00:24 And then being a winner, that's what it comes down to.
00:27 All these teams that do things at the end of the season,
00:30 they have winners at the quarterback spot.
00:32 Look at situations, I look at the guys that can operate third down,
00:37 two minute in the end of the game situations.
00:40 That to me is what's, that's a separator for me.
00:44 And then you look at toughness, you gotta look in.
00:47 Toughness for a quarterback really is about the mental toughness to be able to
00:51 stand in the pocket and deliver the ball.
00:54 And then also have the discernment to be able to move out of the pocket and
00:57 create when it's necessary.
00:58 So, and they come on all different shapes and sizes.
01:02 But yeah, it's always been fun to evaluate those guys.
01:05 I've been looking at quarterbacks all my life.
01:07 And I know what a good quarterback looks like and what's hard on the defense.
01:11 And a guy that has the ability to create,
01:15 a guy that has the ability to throw with timing and accuracy.
01:18 And the guy that can move the ball on the field when it's critical moments,
01:21 like on third down, two minute, and all those critical moments.
01:23 So I've always looked at that and that's been a fun process for me.
01:28 >> He's a leader.
01:29 Everything our guys have said is true and
01:32 not surprised our guys have said what they have said.
01:34 I feel the same way.
01:36 And I think sometimes this whole thing gets Justin versus another person.
01:41 And I have to look at it a little bit differently.
01:45 I take that into effect.
01:46 That's why the person is so
01:48 important when we evaluate other people that would come in that position.
01:52 But also it's my job to think of the long term and
01:55 a lot of our guys kind of don't see that.
01:56 That's not their job to do that and they defend their guy,
01:59 which I think speaks volumes about our culture and our locker room.
02:02 I have faith in our ability to communicate with our guys.
02:07 And when we do that, I think they'll know that it's in the best interest of the team.
02:13 And I think as we've moved along here, I think that the trust factor is there,
02:18 that they're in good hands with however we decide to kind of play.
