Louisville Defense Has Not Faced An Offense Like Notre Dame

00:04 In some of the games anyway, it's been a little bit feast or famine.

00:08 My whole thing with Louisville is I still don't quite know what they are defensively.

00:17 And Georgia Tech ripped them up pretty good, actually in that game.

00:22 I know he's played okay ball for the most part this year, but

00:27 >> Yeah, I mean, he threw for was it over 280 yards, 313 yards in that game.

00:32 Three touchdowns in that game.

00:35 So and then they ran the ball pretty well in that game as well.

00:38 They ran the ball for, so not only threw for over 300 yards, but

00:41 ran for 175 yards in that game as well.

00:44 So they've had some, obviously had some success.

00:46 They've been a little bit up and down defensively,

00:48 did great against Murray State, who's not that good.

00:51 Allowed Indiana to go for 5.9 yards per play,

00:54 which is pretty good for that Indiana offense who just fired their offensive

00:58 coordinator.

01:00 The only other game where Indiana was higher than that was against an FCS team,

01:04 Indiana State.

01:04 They were 2.8 against Ohio State, 4.7 against Akron, and 4.1 against Maryland.

01:12 The game against Louisville was the Indiana offense's best game from a yards and

01:18 yards per play standpoint against an FBS program on the season.

01:22 So by over a yard, Ryan, so 5.85, the next best was 4.7 against Akron.

01:35 Boston College also had some pretty good success against them offensively.

01:42 It was their second best yards performance of the season.
