00:10 The group handled it really well, you didn't feel any panic.
00:22 I think Coach Curtis and Coach Overstreet did a great job on the sideline
00:26 of making sure who was in the game, exactly knew what they had to do.
00:31 They were very detailed on who was going in, what position you were gonna play.
00:35 We had guys play different positions, Jalen Jones went in and played nickel,
00:38 Andy played corner.
00:40 So it was really good to see those guys step up and perform.
00:45 Everybody talks about a next man up mentality, and truly that's what it is.
00:49 These kids and guys and men, they all work very hard through the week, and
00:53 they do a good job of preparing through the week.
00:55 And I think that showed on Thursday.
00:56 I've been fortunate to have done it for a while where I've had rookies go in and
00:59 have to start, but it's always a little bit, you're always a little bit anxious.
01:03 And, but he's gotten better, and he's a young man that prepares well.
01:10 He goes into it with great detail about his assignment,
01:13 what he's supposed to do, how he's supposed to do it.
01:15 So, it's always not sure about how it's gonna be the first time.
01:23 And I was really pleased with the way he approached the first game, and
01:28 then the way he approached the next game, the second game versus Washington,
01:32 where I thought that he played consistent and he got better.
01:36 And that was the biggest thing.
01:37 As long as you can improve from week to week, you're happy with that.
01:41 Well, if you go back to training camp, he had a really good training camp.
01:44 He had a lot of production on the ball on a day to day basis.
01:48 And when he's gotten his opportunities,
01:50 they've all had, everybody on the team's had good plays and bad plays.
01:54 But he was able to, on Thursday, he played a really good game,
01:59 was very instinctive, showed that he's played the game of pro football before,
02:03 it wasn't too big for him.
02:04 And was really excited for him, the way he played and
02:09 the way he was able to produce.
02:10 They have other receivers that are very capable.
02:13 So it may change your game plan from the standpoint where you don't have to
02:17 focus on one guy, but you still gotta play 11 guys.
02:20 And football is not gonna change, that's why it's the ultimate team game.
02:23 It's 11 guys doing their job.
02:26 And I can remember when we were here,
02:28 when Charles would go against Megatron in Detroit.
02:31 Well, it was never just that matchup.
02:33 It's 11 guys playing 11 guys and playing at an extremely high level.
