गोष्ट मुंबईची: भाग १३१ | मुंबईचे सर्वात प्राचीन संदर्भ आहेत, 'या' नदीच्या पात्रामध्ये!
मुंबईतील नद्यांचा आपण शोध घेतो त्यावळेस असे लक्षात येते की, मिठी वगळता इतर सर्वच नद्यांच्या प्राचिनत्वाचे संदर्भ विविध साहित्यांमध्ये सापडतात तसेच पुरावेही सापडतात. पण मुंबईच्या प्राचिनत्त्वाचा सर्वात जुना पुरावा सापडतो तो पोयसर नदीच्या पात्रामध्ये. पूर्वी ही नदी आकुर्ली गावठाणाला वळसा घालून वाहायची. मात्र गेल्या काही वर्षांत आपण तिचा प्रवास काही किलोमीटर्सच्या परिसरात अगदी सरळ एकरेषीय केला आहे. नद्या अशा सरळ कधीच वाहात नाहीत. त्याचाच फटका २००५ सालापासून कांदिवली पूर्वेस असलेल्या ठाकूर संकुलाला आणि उपनगरातील सर्वात मोठी झोपडपट्टी असलेल्या पोयसरलाही बसतो आहे. त्यावर कोणतीही उपाययोजना झालेली नसल्याने यापुढेही भविष्यात तुफान पाऊस झाल्यानंतर ही नदी रौर्द्र रूप धारण करणार हे सांगण्यासाठी ज्योतिष्याची गरज नाही!
