00:05 the county for Thursday, October 19th.
00:08 Sussex is bracing itself for heavy rain and winds as a yellow weather warning is set to
00:12 come into effect early tomorrow morning.
00:15 The Mayor's Office said the stormy weather will clear up briefly this morning before
00:18 thundery showers will hit the country this evening.
00:21 The bad weather has already caused havoc in some places across the county, including Littlehampton
00:26 where a large tree branch fell on a car last night in Parkside Avenue.
00:31 Residents in Chichester have shared their disappointment after another independent business
00:35 announced it was leaving the high street.
00:37 Wagtail, Coffee & Yoga and Church Square Eastgate seemed to quietly close its doors to customers
00:42 this month before later confirming it was closing for good.
00:47 A spokesperson said "We are now permanently closed.
00:50 We cherished every moment with our amazing customers and with immense gratitude thank
00:54 you from the bottom of our hearts for spending time with us during our three years in business."
01:00 And finally, over in Eastbourne, a free dog fair is set to take place on November 5th.
01:04 The event, held at the Chatsworth Hotel on the seafront, hopes to raise the profile of
01:09 Eastbourne as a dog-friendly destination.
01:12 It is one of several events funded by the Visit Eastbourne Tourist Development Fund,
01:17 a £15,000 pot to subsidise new initiatives.
01:21 The fair will include pet portrait photograph sessions, pet first aid training and grooming
01:26 demonstrations, competitions and appearances from pet brands such as Butternut Box.
