Transcript
00:00 Congratulations Jason, now the Hampton League goal-kicking record holder. How are you feeling?
00:05 Yeah, look, a lot of emotion. Look, it's something obviously I'm very proud of.
00:11 Something that over 16 years I've worked hard to strive for.
00:18 But in saying all that, I'm very proud that I've conquered that record.
00:23 But, look, I play a team sport and there's just so many people that share just something little about me being able to create this record.
00:35 So, look, I'm not going to go through and thank so many people, but I just want people to know that, and they know who they are,
00:42 that along the times, look, there's been a lot of people that have made this come to where it is now.
00:50 I know I get all the accolades and all the talk about it, but yeah, it's definitely a lot of people that go with it.
00:59 And the record-breaking goal came in the second quarter, two minutes in. A bit of a throw the goose over the top. How are you feeling about that?
01:06 Yeah, it was a pretty easy one. You'd want that every day of the week to break a record, get one over the top with no one around you.
01:15 So, credit the big Tice. I actually left my socks in Wunnable today and I had to get me a spare pair of socks off Tice.
01:24 So, look, I've got his socks. He's gave me the record-breaking goal. And, look, in saying all that, what a fantastic win.
01:31 This club and the last three weeks, what we've been able to do. Yeah, it's just a cherry on top.
01:39 No worries. Well, congratulations. I'll let you go and celebrate.
01:41 Thank you.
01:42 Thank you.
